The True Cost of Ore Part I

I know you folks love to read about the crazy smack talking lunatics that just amaze everyone with their brand of retardedness. I ran into this guy Sanadason a while ago. He smack talks like crazy. As usual we dec'd his corps and he would run from corp to corp. I would suicide his Hulk between corp hops. Every time he died, he would go crazy in local. I always petition people using slurs like that in local. I don't mind that kind of chat in our corp chat, because we're all accepting of each others humor. However, in local, that type of comment could be very offensive to people. It is to me. It has no real place there. So I wait for him to get out mining in his new Hulk. I scoop up another suicide Dominix and head over to pay him a visit. Scratch another Hulk off for him! I let him know that we will dec the corps he joins at one point or another. He doubts me and I keep doing it. The thing that amazes me is not only do these people recruit him without asking any questions, they want to try to work a deal to end our vendetta against him. They know him all of 1 day and they're already trying to save him from certain death. They think we're afraid to dec them sometimes because they're in an alliance or a "PvP" corp. Not so as you know. One of the corps lets him join and I let their CEO know we will be decing them and he learns that his new recruit brings death with him to their corp. Mind you the vote was put in and the war is about to go active and he knows we mean business now and says he will kick Sanadason. So the CEO drops me a line. His name is Clock. They are above reproach in all situations. Nothing should affect them. It's a deterrent to war. It alleviates most of the threats of war. Especially ones that would come from a cheap pirate corp looking for quick ISK. A little while after this we planted a few spies into the alliance for intel and comedy purposes. We have yet to execute our plan, but I tend to like to wait a while. They usually get comfy, cocky and complacent after a few months and no war dec comes through. It's just a matter of time. Now I get a lot of "Why don't you dec people who actually fight back!" type of comments thrown at me and my corp. We do dec larger corps, they do advertise they are into PvP. Even these corps end up paying surrender fees or joining alliances and jumping corps to avoid wars. Let's see what happens.... One night I see a group of people with bounties all flying faction ship BS's running missions all day in Irjunen. I read their corp bio and it said they do all professions in Eve, even PvP. So one would think they enjoy a good scrap now and again. The name of the corp was VEA GMBH. A German corp based in Irjunen. So the war goes through and none of them log in. When they do log in, they stay docked. This goes on for a while then the corp jumping starts. So of course I fire up the alts to declare wars against their fake splinter corps. I even score a kill or two! They decide to jump corp again. This time into a corp that had more people with bounties who claimed to be PvP'ers. As usual, after a bit, I get a email asking why the war took place. As usual they never believe me. I told them why, and they think someone hired us. So I oblige him and put in the war since everyone jumped into his corp. Of course the war goes live and he never undocks for a few days. At least not when I was on and I know he wasn't AFK because him and his corp were quite chatty in local while I watched them. Finally we catch him heading out towards null sec. I am not sure what he was doing but he kept jumping in and out of 0.0 and then decided to head towards us. We caught him.... ...and make quick work of him. He offers GF which was surprising and we offered it right back. A few days later this hardened PvP'er decides to grind some ISK via his Hulk and goes mining with is corpmate in Irjunen local. That zone is so laggy and so full of pharmers we easily slip in and make him kiss his Hulk bye bye. He goes on to complain in local that he lagged and it's no fair. He claims he is going to petition and tries to get the entire system to petition the lag in hopes that CCP will deem it a server problem and reimburse his Hulk. It was laggy but there was no way he would've escaped even without lag. We were like .4 AU away from the belt warp spot and he was not aligned, he was not moving, in fact, he was face first into an asteroid. There was 150+ people in local. Highly unlikely he was focused enough to get out, even without the lag. It was laggy though, enough to where I was stuck in warp and didn't get in on the kill. At this point is where I really had to laugh. Why you ask? Because I talked to Aslovi who is a director in REPO and he informed me that XXTIGGERXX corp had asked to hire them to kill us! So TRAPS is so sucky and so shitty, that they were willing to hire one of the best merc corps in game just to kill us? REPO declined to dec us and that left his corp with very few choices. Amazingly enough, he opted for a choice I had not seen before. They all decided to run to German based low sec and become outlaws! ROFL! Of course Keira had to jump corp one more time to avoid the war! That was a first for us. We made high sec so dangerous, these guys figured low sec piracy was easier and safer. I already knew why it was safer. I had an alt out in Fensi area where they all hung out and almost every corp based out there was German and they all bunched up and gate camped together. Remeber how Keira said she is all about fair fights? She invited me to come fight her saying she was all alone. Let's see who's on the gate! Yep, all alone and waiting on a fair fight for sure. Let's see what she's up to nowadays..... Devoter vs. Tormentor! Now that [i]IS[/i] a fair fight fo shizzle! Let's dig a bit deeper, shall we? Out of her last 22 ship kills, only 2 of them were 1vs1 kills. The one above and one with her Paladin vs a Breacher! How fucking sad is that? How hypocritical is that? The other 20 kills were all lopsided gate camp ganks. Of my last 23 kills, 14 were solo kills. The rest were all small gangs with 2 or 3 people total. She still emails me after she runs to low sec to hide... She obviously cannot. I looked at all of her solo kills. They're all ridiculous. Paladin vs. Vexor! Absolution vs. Aribtrator! I think of her last 200+ kills 5 or 6 were solo. None of them really close. The closest was Paladin vs. Myrm and Drake. Most of the kills are 5-24 man gate camps. No real skill, pure blobage. I love how she lectures me on the aspects of honor and solo PvPness. It's fucking laughable, don't you think? They also joined an alliance right after the war lapsed to help avoid getting war dec'd again... I don't know if you remember my last story where we dec'd a corp called Amarr Secret Service. We had some fun with them, of course there's always that one in the crowd who is an asshat smacker. His name is Motaka. He sucks at PvP. He brought out a horrribly fit Kronos with T1 guns! Of course he smack talked quite a bit even though the rest of his corp was pretty cool about it all. I laughed because after the story was posted he dropped me an email, basically calling me a liar. They pretty much kept docked/cloaked for most of the war. We engaged them a few times and they ran. They had other decs outgoing so they probably were worried their other WT were nearby. I even tried to engage one just before the war ended and he redocked in a BS vs BS with 2 of his mates in local. One night one of my guys was out flipping ore. He started pasting their smack talk into corp chat. It was a riot. He got local all riled up and said that he had a Rokh that wanted to fight his Hurricane, but the Rokh dropped a can and then warped out 70k from it and he knew he wouldn't be able to catch the Rokh before he could warp out. So he asked me to get a covops alt into place so he could warp on top of the Rokh and hammer it. Before the engagement my guy also aggro'd a Ferox who ran from his Hurricane. His name was Spc Tang. Spc Tang had a friend named Sana Yamada in the Rokh who was baiting my guy with a can. So they both sit and smack and taunt in local. He starts to realize that we actually would dec his corp and tries to backpedal. We asked why he would use his alliance to threaten us if he really didn't want to fight.... Tang turns out to be fairly predictable. He keeps trying to lecture me on honor as if honor somehow negates all his actions and means that he should suffer no consequences.... The funniest thing was his bio! Some security officer! He of course quits corp almost immediately once the dec goes through. No surprise there to be honest. We let his new corp know that war is coming. He joined a corp called Warriors of Armageddon. They're an FW corp out in Black Rise, so I figured with a name like that along with the fact they're into FW, that would mean some PvP for sure. We happen to be at war with another corp based in the system next door to Warriors of Armageddon called Article 14 Section 31. I will talk about them next. So that made things convenient for us. So we head out there and find Tang and his corpmate in a Drake sparring each other. I warp in and lock down Tang and we pop him really fast. However the Drake manages to warp out. Luckily he warped back in about 40k out and we managed to lock him down. He was PvE fit, no scrammer, with that retarded passive tank. My Phobos and Kosh's Hurricane weren't enough to break his tank. So we sat there shooting him will we called in more DPS. Our corpie shows up and we finally kill the beast! 131k damage done! Crazy tank on those frigging things I swear. Their CEO convos me a day later and wants to negotiate a surrender. He came up with one of the best ideas ever. He agreed to pay us the ISK we wanted, as well as have Tang apologize to us, and he would keep the war mutual for another week so they could practice their PvP skills against us. They didn't do too hot but I offered some tips on fittings and tactics and we parted ways amicably. Good sports right there for sure! We even decd a large FW corp called The Green Machine because one of their members decided to smack talk and also because they decided to make comments that TRAPS was retarded. They subsequently cleaned up their KB so the comment was removed. I saw that and felt it was completely unwarranted, considering it was their retarded member who was constantly getting can flipped and killed. Larger than us, PvP'ers, and based in low sec. Once again, goes to show you will not get a guaranteed fight when you dec like this. They mostly retreated to their end of low sec and hid behind the pirate flashy guys who camped the gates there for a living. Still, we tend to excel at guerrilla warfare and scored kills where we could. One night I found one of them running a 2/10 plex in an Amarr Navy Slicer. So I got my Taranis, warped to the plex, warped into the first room, AB'd the 80k to the next gate, warped in to see him almost 100k away scooping overseer's loot. I AB'd and snag em. He must have been daydreaming or something. That pilot was one of the flew who actually left their low sec system and did his own thing. Unfortunately for him, his thing happened to be mining AFK in a Armageddon. He was a good sport about it though, gotta give him that much. The catalyst to this war, a pilot named Zaaeen, happened to cross my path in his Drake one night. Logoffski! Shocking, isn't it!? I didn't think so either. After another week of us hunting them, it seems they grow tired of dodging us. I even warped alone into the low sec system and warped to 2 of them in the ice belt waiting down their Global Criminal Countdown and they ran and docked. It was getting boring for us, but we're extremely persistent, if nothing else. Then one day I log in to see an email from one of them trying to negotiate a surrender in German. Not sure why they thought I would understand German, but I get by with Babelfish like most people do.
