It was just a day like any other in the Dantumi star system. Pretty quiet. there were the usual numbers of haulers passing through the system.

Sitting at a safespot, where I can scan all the belts, I pick up a Cormorant on long range scanner sweep.

"Great, possible target at last!", I think to myself.

Narrowing down the scan I find he is most likely at the middle belt.

I set course for the belt at a bookmark 200KM off the belt.

Sure enough, there he is, and he's killing the NPCs.

I sit and watch for a few minutes while he kills off all the rats and then proceeds to collect the loot from the cans.

Luck has it that he's positioned on the line between me and the asteroid belt warp marker. :D

I warp in at 15K and land right on top of him. I scramble him and set orbit and open up with my lasers and Nos.

He goes down fairly quickly, not even shooting back at me.

His ship blows, but for some reason the pod doesn't show on overview. He gets his pod out of the belt, oh well.

He types "Why did you kill my ship?" in local chat and I receive an evemail saying the same.

The really funny part of the story is I saw this on omgrawr.net a couple of days later.

The funny thing is I wasn't in a Battleship, I was in a Punisher frigate and my bounty is 8 million, not 8 billion (I wish).

Not a great tale of fighing against the odds (although I have a good one to share) but I thought it was quite funny and would give you a giggle, if nothing else.
