Over the past few days eve-pirate.com has continously been flamed by people who appearently don't like pirates.
Me and the other in the staff of this site has been deleting the most 'verbal' comments in the shoutbox but it still strikes me as pretty crazy how someone could compare a player in-game to be as bad as 'pedophiles'.
It surprises me of how they could even make the connection which I take as offending and seriously flawed.
Pirates and player-killers in various MMO's are often called immature teenagers who have nothing else to do in real-life.
Perhaps in some cases this is true, but this would be generalizing. In my opinion it seems more common that the "non-player-killers" are the ones who are the immature teenagers.
The people who keep flaming and calling player-killers the same as 'pedophiles' seriously need to re-think if they should really be playing MMO's if they are unable to make a difference between real-life and a game. This goes for all players who cant take a game just as it is.
