This is totally non-eve-related. So Stop reading this post!
Well, Im a bit busy IRL. Had two cascading failiures today, this meant that EVE-Pirate.com was unavailable for a couple of hours. I've setup a bypass route using another system which is still up. This means there may be traffic-congestions.
Bit of an ugly solution connecting two VLAN's at the ciscoswitch by physical cable connection. Then using the secondary servicenetwork-router to connect both the main servicenetwork (where eve-pirate has its primary DNS) aswell as the secondary servicenetwork (where we host eve-pirate).
A permanent fix is on its way by replacing the failed disks (Maxtor disks all of them) but it'll have to wait until after the weekend before I regenerate the disks.
This is going to put a strain on my wallet this month though :(
Didnt have planned for replacing a primary system PLUS the backup system.
