Learning when to stop

I know when people get killed in their t2 fitted ship they feel robbed. Usually the victim gets a new ship, slowly recovers their losses and moves on but keeps a note of who killed their stuff. Sometimes you will find someone who will fit out their new ship and immediately go looking for the guilty party.

Well, today enjoi and I ganked someone (no names) outside a station. We were sad to learn all his t2 stuff went down the drain and only got a few drones. However usually when I see a threat of "I'll be back to get you", I laugh and rarely see that person again. However this guy turns up 20 minutes later in a brand new thorax fully fitted with what he claims was an identical setup and a few extra toys. After a few minutes of local chat, Flyer11 found him killing NPCs in a belt and decided to engage him. Well the thorax pilot only got out with 15% structure and claimed he "forgot" to use his disruptors or he claims would have dominated Flyer. When I heard that I just had to laugh. It is a shame Flyer didnt have a scrambler at the time.

Anyway, he said he was going to still "get us" and disappeared from local. 30 minutes later he turns up in his now repaired thorax and challenges one of the other pilots in the system to a duel. The other guy was in an Ishtar setup for the system complex. Needless to say the rax guy lost another ship but still vowed to get his revenge on us.

Unfortunately he logged before enjoi returned otherwise it could have been another few ship kills. Thanks to that guy though, not only was it great entertainment but he finally pushed my sec rating over the -5.0 mark. I just hope I get to make a dent in his new rax. Oh, and this is my first post for E-P :)
