Finish him! Fatality.

Two nights ago I got my usual group together to go terrorize the skies in the Amamake area. At first the night seemed like it was going to drag. Nobody was in the damn belts and we were starting to get bored and feisty.

Finaly we came across some guy in a Minmatar destroyer who engaged the bait ship. Being bored and not having seen much action we warped in our cruisers and laid waste. I think Desolatus in his punisher could have handled him solo, but what's a good gank party without overwhelming firepower? heh. So we continued to scan around and found a few ore cans hangin around one belt. Intrigued we set a trap, and what to our wandering eyes should appear but a purdy mammoth lookin to haul all that ore.

I'm sure you can guess the results by now. Pop goes the mammoth and we lock the pod. After demanding the usual ransom and getting denied in the (cough) nicest (cough) terms possible Deso decides what he really wants in life is his own frozen corpse to love and molest on those lonely nights. Pop goes the pod and Deso has his new life partner.

So we continue scanning the belts and find us a Scorpion cruising around. Deso has already warped out but Fade and I stay to take a look and the scorp starts to target us. We flee and regroup. It becomes a game of cat and mouse with the BS stalking our two cruiser one frigate group and us tryin to stalk the BS. Think of it like wolves surrounding a moose and trying to circle in for the best advantage.

The whole sitation finaly came to a head when I stumbled across the scorp in a belt and called the group in as she locked and scrammed me. She jammed and NOS'd the hell out of my ship but not before I locked my drones on and did some fair damage with my blasters. I was getting pounded by cruise missles but my armor tank was holding at least for the moment. As my armor started approaching three quarters gone and I started breathing a bit faster we managed to crack the scorp and it went up in a white hot ball of doom. For all of us it was our first PvP battleship kill.

After this Amamake was dead so we headed off to Gulmarod or whatever it is called. I have heard reports of macro miners there and decided to see if we could find some. JACKPOT! Macro miners ahoy, but with a twist. There was a Ferox there. We charge in and waste the Ferox as the miners scatter. We then follow them and start to trash a Mammoth and lock the barges. Apparantly this macro miner had decided to be at his keyboard with his 5 alts at the time so we couldnt get all of them. He started logging them all off but we managed to lock the pod of the mammoth pilot before he could get away.

At this point we tried to extort a rather large price from this pod and got a mixture of Chinese combined with I'll pay. 30 seconds passed. I told him 20 more seconds or we blow your pod. As the timer reached 0 we fired as he screamed he would pay and we said you had your chance bitch. Pop goes the pod and Kummy has a new body to snuggle up to at night.

A very nice night or pirating overall. Lots of action.
