Enjoi was going to post this but hasn't got around to it so I thought I'd share it with the E-P readers.
About a week ago, Enjoi, Luthair Stonedog, Flyer11 and I were having some fun killing people in a 0.3 system in Essence. We had a good afternoon with a number of battleship kills, a load of cruisers, BCs and the usual indy ships. The day also was yielding above average number of pods being squished.
It was late in the afternoon when we got word from an informant that people in the FNA npc corp channel were talking about us. Some guy called Personaljustice was going to come down to pay us a visit. At the time I was in my Megathron (now destroyed - another story), enjoi was in his scorp and stone was in his dom. I assume we ganked the guy earlier in the day and he wanted some revenge.
Our informant > someone in the newbie chat is bickering about a flashy red dude in oms, dont know if it's one of the guys, suposidly one of the members has a mega and is going to head out there, have fun with him enjoi ^_^
After some encouragement from our informant the npc corpers managed to assemble a group of 5 people with a mix of cruisers and frigates. Our informant travelled with them to feed us information on their position. I laughed about how one guy was planning to dispatch me and my thron.

Eventually they assembled on the other side of the gate we would be at. Enjoi, flyer and stonedog joined me at the gate while we were fed information from their discussion.

After that fun I made a new alt to thank them for the fight. It was shortly after I thanked them that I saw this:
Apothio > Oh, for those that are wondering, we got whiped out in our attack on the gate camper and his buddy.
eleuthereus > We all got podded five of us - it was a trap - 6 copr members were waiting for us. How did they know?
Well there were only 4 of us, even though 1 of us could have taken them all out. Here are some other select quotes from their corp chat while I was there:

I look forward to the next npc corp "fleet" to come get us. Thanks for the loot guys, I gave it to some new players I know. I removed the name of the guy in the npc corp who told us. If he gives me permission I will update this with his name. It was a good laugh though.
