(Pre-Cold War patch) How to not get ganked by concord! (Raising your sec rating the fastest way!)

You shot a few ships and killed a few podpilots and you notice your sec-rating is -2.0. Suddenly you notice you are getting shot at by big fancy ships with nasty mean cannons.

What do you do?

Of course what else, you head for 0.0!

The first thing you need to do is get through the passage systems, highwaysystems camped by gank-squads and mean alliance pilots.
I suggest you fit your ship with loads of warp-core stabilizers. Remember, it's not cowardice to survive gateganks!
Also, pack your ship with ammo. You'll need it as 0.0 is pretty clean of trade opportunities. (More guides to 0.0 survival will follow)

Once you're through, you should find a system with a station (preferably with processing plant) a few jumps away from the highway systems. Just out of reach from the ebil gank-squads. Eventually you might want to get safespot bookmarks and insta warp bookmarks to the system nearby and through the highway passages.

Now is when the grind begins. Find any (NPC) battleship spawn with 750k bounty (e.g. the Guardian Enforcer). Killing this ship will give you a 0.4% sec boost.
What is important to remember is that you will only gain a sec boost every 15minute. The biggest ship you kill will give you the biggest boost. Not all ships together.
Now, the 750k battleship is the ship which gives the best sec rating boost. The others with higher bounty will actually give less!

Alright, I'm guessing you know how to take out the enemy so I wont teach you that. (Go take a look at the EVE-online.com forums for ships and modules for good NPC-hunting setups).
The trick with fast sec-boost gain is to keep the spawn going. "Chain" it. Do NOT kill anything else than the battleship. If you really have to kill anything, make sure you leave one other enemy alive apart from the battleship.
The battleship will respawn every 15-20minute. Which gives you a fast way to keep gaining sec-rating.

Eventually the spawn will disappear, but dont worry. It's just moved to another belt, use the scanner to fight the battleship again when it arrives.

Now, when your sec-rating is back to 0.0 it's time to go back to low sec space and kill those unknowing haulers and miners!
