Hmm. I've only been in Syndicate once (for a mission) and it resulted in me getting podded by a bunch of guys who, after I asked nicely, told me I was free to pass through their gate camp. (PF-346)
Haven't gone back in since, though I'm getting interested in it since ratting in 0.1 is getting dull. Too much competition and not enough good rats. Very low number of pirates though, so that's good (for me anyway).
It's the pirates that keep me out of 0.0 though, as I lack a key ingredient for a successful trip to 0.0: Friends.
I guess I should just join a good corp and alliance soon.
a 0.0 corp or alliance is not at all a requirement.
I spent the last month in Syndicate making tons of ISK and I am in an empire carebear corp. Make a trip late at night and make tons of BMs for everything you could need around the area you will be in. Look for a good system and spend your time there. Be friendly and most of the locals will be the same way in return. Syndicate regulars are mostly made up of two groups. corps who travel together, who you dont want to live in the same system as (unless you know for sure they are friendly to you). And lots of individuals out there who are looking for ISK and sec. standing. I am anti-pirate , but I live in the same system as several pirates. We have an understanding that we are there for some downtime and ISK. I leave them alone, they leave me alone, and we all Safespot it when certain corps come through.
Very nicely done :)
yeah i live in syndicate too and its a nice place to be... always some targets arround for killing ...
there is another entry point near D85... but be aware that some nasty pirates are always arround there
Syndicate is fun place to fly.
Having friends there is a definite plus.
You didn't mention the entry point from Reblier, but that is quite often camped too.
Yeah, nice guide for new players. In fact, I didn't realise the new entry point from Barleguet!!!
Syndicate is a great place to come in and have a good chance of finding some pvp. Personally, I like the way that interdictor bubbles cover the entire jump in area. So multistab BSs are certainly no longer safe!
