Several days ago, Veto decided to pay The Bleak Lands a visit, the spiritual home of several of our corp members, and ex-members of the Blood Inquisition.
We were met by a lot of blobbing, a lot of abuse regarding our presence there, and were warned by all the corporations apparently protecting the area to get out, or face the consequences.
Today those consequences were realised, as were the consequences for threats on Veto's pilots.
Earlier today, one of our pilots, Gizis, ventured into The Bleak Lands in his Raven class battleship on a solo hunting trip, to make some ISK and ply his trade as a pirate. He was met with harsh resistance.
His first attacker was swiftly punished, - An Armageddon class battleship belonging to Free Space Tech Corporation.
A second aggressor was pinned down and defeated, a Megathron belonging to an un-identified corp ( Randomly accidentally deleting killmails 4tl :-\ )
A third agressor was then retailiated against, and also lost his vessel, a Dominix belonging to Board of Twenty corporation.
Our pilot then escaped an attempted ambush and was camped in the system of Sahtogas by Eleven people.
Veto organised a small fleet of 1 Tempest, 1 Raven, 2 Megathrons a Rupture and myself in a Malediciton class interceptor, in an effort to even the odds, and bring our pilot home safely.
We arrived in Sahtogas to find the pilots camping him still there. After several engagements, three more battleships were destroyed, while our pilots took sentry and billboard fire, with no losses to Veto.
One Armageddon, one Megathron and one Scorpion class. An Apocalypse class, and a heavily Warp Core Stabilised Ferox class battlecruiser managed to escape.
In total today, a corp of 14 members, with six members online at the time, destroyed six enemy battleships and took no losses, despite ECM and heavy use of Nos by the opposing force. Gizis returned home safely, and faction and Tech 2 loot worth 80 million isk total has just been sold and the funds deposited into Veto's corporate account.
I will be paying dividends to my pilots once the total is sufficent to warrent it.
Veto will continue to pirate in The Bleak Lands, and will remain a presence there. As CEO I have a simple message to the several corps who are attempting to protect it from our trade :
Agress our pilots, and we will come for you. Be it tomorrow, next week, next month or year, we will be there as a team, and a family.
