CCP get your act together - is it so hard not to break the overview every patch?

Read no further if you dont like rants, however this is yet another bug which has gone unfixed for so long. When you see someone on your overview that is flashing red and then they warp out, next person who warp in may sometimes also appear red. This is what happened to me today.

Looking at a transport ship which is red is too tempting to stand down.
Blasting at it with my thorax I notice to my dismay that the sentry guns start locking me and blasting at me.

CCP, get your act together. Fix stuff without adding more content, ok?

It's also pretty incredible that CCP still hasnt started using a real software automation framework to test legacy code.
Last time it was mentioned a dev said they were going to look into that.

I cant say I know practises of how CCP do their code in-house, however sometimes I get the feeling they publish stuff on the testserver. Let some volunteer bughunters have a go at it and fix anything which is "noticable" at first glance.

How exactly does CCP test their codebase? Do they use refactoring and revisit code? Or simply hope that stuff doesnt break when they add new functions?

I for one wont be working for free and submit bug reports through the eve-online website.
Calling a GM for ship reimbursment is also starting to look like a waste of time if you're involved in PVP.
The only responce I get out of GM's are along the lines of "I'm sorry but our serverlogs cannot indicate anything was wrong at the time."
*sigh*
