I was browsing our forums when one of our guys posted about a flaming/smacktalk post that was placed on the Cairdeas Alliance forum in their public section regarding Veto.
For those of you who don't know, Cairdeas Alliance is the former members of the unoffical "Bleak Lands Watch" alliance who blob outlaws in the Sahtogas/Oyonata area. Rumour has it that they shelled out the billion isk to avoid war decs on their individual corps so that thay they can effectively make it more difficult for outlaws to fight, and run around ganking us under the sentries.
We've been fighting them for months now, and recently killed a Charon Class freighter full of very expensive supplies totalling over 1 billion ISK, that belonged to one of their member corps, thanks to a tip off from an aquaintence I have inside their alliance. The contents of the freighter were also confirmed by our friend in Cairdeas.
This apparently pissed them off to no end, leading to this post on their forums :

So, I wanted to post about the smack regarding us on the Cairdeas forums, in a professional, PR related manner. I registered, and was approved after an hour of waiting...
I logged in, and realised something was horribly wrong.... they hadn't restricted my access AT ALL.
This meant that I had full access to their forums and spent the next HOUR going through all of their forums and copying anything that may be of use to Veto, or any outlaw corp who wishes to purchase the information from us to aid organisation of an attack on them...
Of course, being me... I couldn't just leave it at that... afterall, they made some pretty slanderous accusations towards us, so why not have some fun on our part.
First I posted in their "Tactical Operations Department", labelling my post "Your Operations are not very Tactical", as shown below for your amusement :

Their members continued to post around my threads, seemingly obivious to my presence for almost 4 hours... before I was "promptly" IP banned from their forums
I've been laughing so hard my cracked kneecap hurts, and I'm coughing like a bastard again.
The last time I experienced something this pleasureable was that incident with Hans Blix and all the baby oil. :lol:
This is going to keep me laughing all through the summer.

Hehe. What i find to be funny is, everyone is using stabs from time to time, making a show out of them in CAPS and all that does not help.
Tbh it's not even funny anymore. And trust me, i've seen l33t PVP guys fitting stabs on their Deimos, Vagabond, whatever and it was for sure not a 'travel' setup ;-).
This stab thing is really kind of getting old. Your target fits stabs? Bring interdictors or simply more tacklers/points than he can take...
On the other hand, what is funny is the obviously clueless admin and his crappy job on securing/maintaining that wide open hole which is called phpBB. I bet it's not even theirs anymore...

I do not have the EVE game, but I was researching it when I came across a link to something about EVE and piracy. Being a pirate myself, I was compelled to click, which I did.
And I must say, you, sir, are either very lucky, very brilliant, or both. I congratulate you... may your not-so-legally obtained information bring you great profits!
Perhaps in a few years when I actually have my own place, I will be able to play EVE... until then, do a lil' extra pirating just for me!
