So there I am, out late by myself in my faithful Rupture. Cruising around Placid and finding nothing, admittedly because of the high pirate content, so I head up into Citadel through lowsec.
I hop into a system that is being camped by some corp friends (Mbytes) and so I decide to run around to some of the belts on the off chance someone is still ratting. I hop into a belt and a few seconds later a Caracal warps in about 40 km off me. I tense, ready for the barrage of missiles that normally arrive with a Caracal, but instead it just warps off. I breath a quick sigh of relief and see where it is headed, the next belt.
Slapping my warpdrive quickly I head in behind the Caracal, landing about 12 km away from it this time. Perfect for me I hope. So I light it up with my guns and drones and in no time the Caracal is down to 1/3 structure. I try to ransom, yannow throw out that old convo... no response after a few seconds, so I use my drones to send him to his doom. I let the pod go cause I am cool like that. ANYWAYS, I look at the killmail and the guy had assault missile launchers and then, 2 x Miner 2's! I mean I had forgotten that a Caracal could even fit mining lasers, but come on people!
Moving right along I look at local and the gatecamp is still there, so I move to the next system and then come back after the gatecamp had moved on due to lack of targets. In jumps another Caracal on me when I am sitting in a belt trying to pick a fight. Chuckling does not cover what was headed through my mind.
Okay the point of this story is after getting my ransom from this guy, I look at local and this guy is bitching about being pirated to the other guy in local. IN A PROPHECY. Okay so I head off to a safespot waiting off my timer, and then this guy is asking me if I want to run the complex with him! Ummmm hello? Even though I retain my sec status I still manage to pirate and admitadly had just done so. I decided not to kill the Proph. I was just shocked. Is everyone up there this silly? anyone else had any experiences like this? Sillyness!
I am definately going back there asap! \o/ See you all there!

Not quite as funny as warping into a belt and finding a battlecruiser loaded down with mining lasers... no guns at all.
