Crippling the Behemoth

Wensday 17th.

FOUR units of the System lords pirate fleet glides into the top belt of the system.
hulls brush hulls as the ships land, a Ferox, a cyclone, an Enyo and a Wolf.

The Target? A fully tech2/faction fitted NOS domi sat at the belt.
Let battle commence.

ok, so we all land and tackle the guy, hes webbed and scrambled to kingdom-come. he launches his first wave of drones, and places them on Nik'a, whos in the cylone. suffice to say, nika dies due to lack of cap. but the sacrifice of the cyclone gave us enough time to eliminate all of the ogre2's. his second salvo of drones are med drones t2 and heavies, but i manage to tank them long enough for all of these to be popped too.
so finally, we have a dominix with no offensive capability, but it was by no means over. only 10 minutes had passed in a (as it ended up) 40 minute fight.
the dominix has an awsome tank, it was just sat their taking our damage, switching between nossing the AF's and me. but we always had atleast -2 on it, so it wasnt going to be warping anywhere.

the Dom pilot by now is Real worried, so hes in local saying things like,
'Noobs, im going to kill you all, noobs'
and
'i need help in top belt, some nooby pirates are attacking me'

so becuase of his antics, in warps in a rupture.
in comes towards us, and engages one of the AF's.
we keep the domi scrambled, and turn our attention to the rupture, which dies quite fast under our torrent.

we then switch back to our main foe, the dom. its tank IS failing, its just taking ages, which of course means more chance of his friends coming in, or things going wrong.
Speak of the devil?

in warps a Wolf and a second rupture.
they both ignite space with their speed and rush towards us.
i call primary as the wolf, and again we take everything off the domi and slap it on our intruding little friend here.
as we are keeping the dom webbed, once the wolf hits hull, it hurridly runs away, finally warping with around 5%-7% hull left.

the rupture pilot? well he is hurting one of the AF's and just before he goes PoP, our Wolf goes Pop! but the main thing is...the rupture dies.

so now its back to killing the Dom, with just me and an Enyo.
now its dying even slower than it was before. what are we going to do? can we expect any more resistance?
well no. a new ship did warp in. but it was nika who had gone all the way home, picked up a raven, and come all the way back. his contributary firepower meant the dommy finally exploded into a fireball.

the loot made up for all our losses, and then some. but i would have paid to take part in that fight, let alone profit from it.

oh, and we ransomed his pod. but all we got was a hail of abuse from him and the lines, 'my corps going to come and get you'

Sorry mister Dom pilot..who are the noobs again?
