Alliance-space IS NOT empire!

What surprised me was how easy it was to catch them. It's like they've never before seen pirates in their space :)

The battle we had last night was awesome.
First we attacked a raven at a gate who just jumped in to the system, he was tanking and dishing pretty good damage.
We broke through his shields just as his friend in another raven jumps in.

The first raven goes down and we turn to the second who warps to another gate. He had at least two stabs on, so we werent able to catch him as Rasta had to warp out and just returned as Shamis too had to warp. His armor was at 25% at the time and he had simply taken too much beating on his vaga.
Rasta, me and Kiriz Zule warp after the raven right-away, Shamis was on his way to catch up.
Ceptors and hacs in pursuit must be scary cause he didnt dare to jump to the other side, he started aligning for warp back to the other gate.

We target him and he begun to return fire, no longer able to jump through gate we scram him and make sure he cant get out. Slowly he goes down and we break his shield-tank.

That's when three more of his friends jump in. A dominix , tempest and a kestrel.
The kestrel is first to go down just as we break through the hull of the raven.
Tempest is called primary and we try to keep out of the dominix nos and drones. Lots of tech2 drones and web-drones are pretty nasty and Rasta is soon caught in the web of the dominix-drones.
The tempest is starting to take damage from Shamis but Rasta is in a critical position.
Me and Kiris are ordered to focus fire on the drones. Shooting the webifier drones they soon go pop and Rasta is able to get out of the dominix range to regain a little shield. He's also in armor now, at 80%.

The tempest shield and armor is wrecked and the hull soon goes pop in a flash of light. Shortly after we're all ontop of the dominix which is putting up a good fight. Tech2 warrior drones are on my ass all through the battle and his nos is pretty nasty. Kiriz is shooting at the drones following me and they eventually go down one by one. It's a tough game as the dominix never seemed to be out of drones. Between the times Shamis and Rasta is able to jam the dominix we're able to regain our caps. But the drones are still numerous.

I'm slightly nervous but pretty sure now that the match will be won by us. The dominix looks stretched as his armor is dropping more than he's able to repair. Several seconds later his drones are out. Not a single one left in space , me and Kiriz has taken care of that and the Dominix finaly goes pop just as his friends in two ravens, a tempest and a kestrel.

The loot?
A lot of arbalest cruise launchers, 4x t2 cruiselaunchers. Nice armor-tanks, named with true sansha hardeners. Large t2 reppers, a bunch of heavy diminishing nosses dropped from all of the ships and much more.
In total over 700m3 of pure t2 loot.

The same night we had wrecked havoc in their space, avoided their camp and even made strafe books to wreck one of their eagles while passing their many warp bubbles after we made them look like fools. Multiple haulers with named cargo expanders which would make any carebear drool of awe and 30 jumps later we had safely gotten back to our own territory with a good haul of loot.
