after work action....

Let me set the scene here: I had just gotten off of work... by the time I get home it's 2 in the morning. I turn the computer on and let it boot up while I grab a bite to eat. Everything is up and I login to EVE. I look around for a minute and decide to take my jaguar out for a spin around the low sec systems. The night before I had been in the rorsins system in my covert ops just scouting a bit and noticed quite a few players mining. The system only has 5 belts to it making it quite easy to scan. So, I go through the low sec systems and arrive in rorsins. When I get there I notice 3 others in local. Scanning brings me info that therer's a Brutix,a rifter and an Osprey. The brutix and rifter are at the station. However, the osprey is in a belt all by himself... no rats or anything. Looks like he's mining.... I engage warp and land 20km from him. I hit the ab and close range. Once I get to 9k I lock and web him followed by scram. I then activate my 3 200mm autocannon II's and my small named nos. His shield seems to be going down slowly... must have an em hardner on. So, I switch to hail ammo and watch as his shields and armor melt. My intention here was to ransom him but while I was shooting at him... the carebear screams in local PIRATE!!! I say bad boy and eat his structure and watch as the ships blows up.

Since he had been mining I checked the cans around me and sure enough there were 2 cans of ore about halfway full each. I logged my industrial alt on and got him to rorsins and had him pick up the loot while I had Edwin wait out his aggro timer at an SS. Aggro timer is gone about 10 minutes later and I scan the belts again.... this time I see the guy I just killed back in a Moa with the brutix and rifter with him. I decide to go in and toy with them. I land about 60 k from the moa and set him to keep at range 60k.... I turn off the ab and let the rifter slowly catach me. When he gets within 10k I lock,web and scram follows. Set him to orbit and he goes down in a few seconds. By the time I had gathered the loot the brutix had closed to within 30k of me and was shooting... he did'nt do too much damage but then the moa started firing missiles. I withdraw and go wait out my aggro timer.

After my aggro timer is gone I decide to call it a night. I would have stayed and killed the brutix and moa but all that ore made me a good chunk of change so there was really no need to stick around as I needed sleep for work and the moa was using stabs.... ahh well...
