We track down a miner in a belt, unfortunately I had fitted a 7.5km scram. (DAMNIT!) In the can of the Ferox was a Dark Blood Capacitor Power Relay! (Expect an auction soon.) Later that night, we decided to bust up an ice mining op next door. I jump through first and thanks to a gang mate I already have an insta to their op. I land about 30km off of them. MWD...Target...Scram...#*$*@!@* (7.5km scram again!) The rest of the gang catch up with me and we smile as their hauler warps right in on top of us! As he goes down, their single armed escort, a Celestis, packed with ewar shows up. He dies quickly, when out of no where warps a 3rd party gang of two Ishkurs and a Stilleto! It was a rather insane battle with the drones from the two Ishkur and my corpie's Vexor all buzzing around at once. The Stilleto to chose fight me away from the others. He flew right into my Web, Scram and NOS, where he stayed and died. Our guys managed to kill one of the Ishkurs, and finally everyone who was in a pod warped out. We met up at a safe spot where I managed to run the armor repper for a couple of cycles. I warp back in to the belt. There is the last Ishkur at 15km. I turn on my microwarp as I charge straight at him. I get the tackle as does he, now we are locked in a battle to the death. I only started with 1/3rd armor. I get in a couple more rep cycles as his drones chew through my halfway recharged shields. I call in my last corp mate with a ship to help me out. The drones are chewing through my armor by now and my cap is barely holding on. As my cap gets drained past the point of repper use, I notice his armor is almost half way gone. Slowly his armor continues to dwindle as does mine. BOOM! We both warp out; me in my pod, him with no armor and my corpie on his heels. Oh well, my corp mate gets to pick and choose from all the loot and scoops 10 T2 light drones as well. In one week's time I've learned some valuable lessons for new pirates everywhere: 1) When in a group Voice Coms are essential! If my mic wasn't borked, I am convinced we would have won the last battle. 2) Never warp back with only half your tank repaired. 3) Its better to be lucky than good. (Thank you Ferox nub!) To top it all off, I went out today in my Thrasher while waiting on a new Rupture. My friend in a Punisher and my Thrasher spend 30 minutes (while partially afk) tracking down a Brutix that was ratting. Finally we warp in on him, I get my 1 point on him and my mate goes for the close range tackle. The Brutix launches his drones towards me. My Thrasher laughs long and hard as they each get webbed and popped in one volley of my artillery. He sics whatever is left of his drones back towards my friend's Punisher, who ends up popping. I finish off the drones as they come back in range of my guns. With the help of the 3x Blood cruisers I finish off the Brutix as he can't afford my ransom.
