Was floating around old mans star, ratting for a little isk to buy many more wonderful rifters Then i see a rax jump in 30 km away, i sorted out the rats and he is still here.
SO i head towards him, and he jumps before i could get in range as only got a 7.5 km scram and ab on a rifter.
I had a look at him hes been in eve for a month or 2.
then i had a brain wave, i thought i hunt him down, can't use a scanner very well ( must learn) and most of the time does not work for me, i just belt jump, 3 jumps and i find him with his t1 drones out .
Iam thinking shall i, what the hell but was again 20 km away, ab on and omw.
get in range as he is worried about the drones, he scooping them up still 1 to go, iam getting closer,
AH mad it LOCK and SCRAM, out come the dones again t1 meds out, autocannons on, lock drones by by drones then some little ones, hes begging in local stop stop.
ALL this is a rifter V rax
I ask for 5 mill ranson which is high, he does not have it, all the time the auto's are slowley but surely destroying the rax.
I ask for 2 mill he hands over 1.9 mill, i though that will do that wil buy and re-fit a rifter, so i carring on until in hull i reckon only 20% left. then i warp to my ss.
Im glad i got the 15 mins aggresion as still shacking my 1st ransom and it worked :)
i went back to villmore 0.5 and hes in dock, started to chat, he was not upset, just wondered how a RIFTER can tackle and beat a RAX, all in all he was a very nice guy, in fact i told him how to setup the ship better.
WELL makes it more of a challenge for next time. He moned about i took most of the hull away and he did not have isk to fix it, so i gave him a med hull rep i got from a cruiser rat about 10 mins before.
End of the convo we agreed we had fun and he had learned, which is worth more then isk anyway

Ah OMS and Villore brings back memories, if you haven’t check out haine usually has a quite a few people in and is low sec. Overall nice story its good when everyone learns something and I can agree that there is nothing quite like your first successful ransom good work!
good job, in my opinion older and more experienced players should all do as you did, by teaching younger players instead of ganking them into oblivion. Good job :)
