Many felt it, many heard about it, but few survived to tell about it.
It all happened in amamake. A big shout from Sniggerdly "WE ARE STILL HERE!". Echoes reaching even to the eve-online forums as we sat there.
A 24h gatecamp consisting of mostly battlecruisers and a couple of battleships. No bigger than 10-20 ships in total. Continously taking shots by sentry-guns and the occasional battleship which tried to fight back. Most ships never lasting more than a couple of seconds after the initial tackling begun.

My own weekend gatecamp-weekend had started sour after I left my laptop unattended in a hotel-room in denmark. One of my neph who used to play EVE (now plays WoW) undocked my mega and left it sitting outside station. When I came back I saw my fine ship getting popped by a couple alliance goons. Anyway, not a big deal and I shortly replaced it and was back in the game.

It wasn't about pride, it wasn't about guts or honor. It was all about explosions and isk. Sort of like the way carebears stripmine asteroidfields and leave systems ridden of ore. In our case, it was a system ridden of ship, full of corpses and loot.
More than thousand ships exploded during this 24h period and it covered plenty of pages on the Sniggerdly killboards.
Some highlights from this large-scale piracyoperation were the numerous battleships who died. Recon ships which didnt manage to cloak in time and the haulers full of t2 and faction-loot.
It was repetative work, but it paid out well. Just cause Sniggerdly is out in 0.0 taking on alliances, doesnt mean you're safe in empire.
They are still out there.

8) Nicely done.
Awesome
Whoa, wish I could have seen that, no matter I died or not, I just wanted to see it.
And about the neph, I seriously would have thrown him out of the window lol. Anyone who would touch my PC is a dead man.
Plowed my BC into it too :'(
And this is why We indis HATE the Pirates
Was a long weekend, i was there for around 15-17 hours of it(drunk for around 13-14 of em(its why im not exactly sure how long i was there for :p)), but plenty of fun. 40 odd killmails in a mega and on a good couple hundred. :D
It must take soo much skill to camp the amamake gate and kill n00bs
kudos to Snigg!
Dont think you read the article :) it wasn't anything about skill as your ironic post says.
No, it wasn't cowardice. Just plain grinding for isk.
Explains the 80kills in the last hour I saw on the map… decided going through there was a bad idea :)
Kudos for making people remember that you should always check your route!
Snig is out taking on alliances now? LOL. Whenever I see you in 0.0, you might be 4 strong and run away when someone shows up.
I knew there was a reason why I didnt want to run back to Heimatar recently...
Here is a video of a small frigate group on a suicide run to the gate. :)

I had to pass there, and easily slipped away. But it is always scary to see a page full of flashing red.
BTW, the killings were boasted by 'fake' kills. A 'Snigg Woosies' was blown up 30 odd times....
Snigg Woosies was someones alt who kept warping into our camp. We even petitioned him. The Gms told us to wait until he got tired of doing it since suiciding yourself on a gate camp isnt exploit or anything like that :-/
As long as alperaute is snigg free I am happy.
