I undock in my little Atron fitted with a ship scanner, MWD, and 2 Nanofibers :). <3. I warp to the station they're "camping" (Just sitting on the station, not shooting.) and land 10km from the Thanatos. I lock and scan. Unsurprisingly, I see the carrier has uber deadspace hardeners worth about 800m total. The carrier locks me and releases his drones. 'lol, like they're going to shoot a frig.' I has wrong, the carrier pilot put his drones on me, but I managed to warped out in time. While in warp I realized something, the carrier is flagged to our corp. >:D.

I guess there was a bug, or a feature we weren't aware of, setting a corp. to -5 allows them to shoot you without concord/sentry help. We set them back to 0.0 and then the sentries started working how they should, and popped a hostile Manticore. Now that we had the sentries are on our side, we decide to engage their Battleships.

The Tempest warped away with his WCS, and we turned our attention to the next Battleship, the Megathron. We couldn’t break the Megathrons tank because the carrier was remote repping it, so it waited the 30 seconds and docked, leaving the Carrier alone. With the sentries on our side, we decide to engage the carrier, and I warp back to the station to get my nos Dominix.

Our two Megathron pilots bumped the Thanatos 17km from the station so he couldn't dock, and we put 5 warp scram points on him. He wasn’t going anywhere.

The carrier had an uber tank, we would get him to about 60% armor, then he would just rep all the way to 90-100%, but every time he repped, his armor got lower and lower. When we got him to hull, he finally released his fighters and his corp. mates decided it would be a good idea to warp in and try to help their friend-in-need. But it was too late, we nosed the entire carriers cap and he couldn't rep. When we got him in 25% hull, his friends warped out even though they managed to take Druz's ship down to structure.

The mighty Thanatos finally blew up after 11+ minutes of constant bombardment. We let his pod warp away since it’s not worth the security hit. The pilot warped his pod to a SS and logged off. We recovered 2x Capital Armor Repairers, Drone Control Unit, and a Core X-Type Armor Kinetic Hardener. The armor reps and drone control unit will be used on our own capital ships, once they're produced and our pilots have the necessary skills.

Maybe it was luck, maybe it was skill, maybe it was the disorganization on their part, maybe it's all of the above. But who gives a shit? We just killed a fucking carrier :P.
