Hey everyone, this is my first E-P post so go easy on me :P
I've been reading E-P for quite a while now (mainly over the period it took for my new GTC to arrive) and decided that I'd write an article about a decent scrap I had when I came back.
This such scrap came about thanks to a bit of luck.
I was patrolling around verge-vendor, as I usually do. I jumped into oueletta and scanned the system quickly (the great thing about oueletta is you can scan every part of it from any place) and I found a celestis and a tristan on scanner. Since my cloak was still active after jump I decided to warp to the first belt, so I could click my ship for the little square. I arrived at the belt and was mildy dissapointed when it was empty (except for rats). Then, a few seconds later, they both warp in. "Damn, 30km away :/" were my thoughts, but I switched on the old AB and cruised towards them as fast as I could. I was soon within scramble range and I locked and unloaded my drones (vexors ftw) and sent them after the tristan. I concentrated on him, since the celestis was too busy on the rats (he didn't seem to realise I was a pirate :D) An he soon went pop. Ignoring the pod, I turned my scrambler to the celestis, and soon had it webbed and nossed like the tristan before it. My drones got to work and slowly hacked through it's shields (was a pretty nice tank). I noticed local bumping at this point, and decided to make sure there were no allies. After reading up the character, I saw he was an '04 player (which surprised me, since he was in a celestis). After the shields went, the armor quickly broke and the hull followed shortly after. I realised after I should have ransomed, since he had no decent mods. Unfortunately I forgot to put on fraps untill the celestis was breaking shield :( I missed the pod, but all in all it was a good fight, (I had to actually use my armor rep versus the celestis :D) and the mods will add to my mineral stock once reprocessed.
As I say: "it's all killpoints".

No one seems to fly the Celestis right. I would never lose to a Vexor pilot in a Celestis. In fact, if flown right, there is no reason the Celestis should lose to ANY T1 Cruiser.
