Funny thing with people in this game. I get threatened to have war declared on me all the time. It never happens though. The people who do war dec me, never say a word about it, they just do it out of nowhere.
So me and my guys are out in Irjunen looking for a corp we had a war with. We get bored as they sit in the station so my guys went out to the belts to steal some ore and look for trouble.
They find it in no time. They swap a few cans of ore and back comes this corp to retake our ill-gotten gains. I had left at this point but apparently they killed 2 frigates and their hauler.
They commence trash talking. Then they make their biggest mistake yet....
Their CEO, who is over 1 year old, decides to email the corp and demand restitution for their ship, mod, ore and time losses. He is demanding 10 million ISK. The real kicker is that if we don't pay, he will bring down his wrath of fury upon me and my corp and war dec us to teach us a lesson. He informs me that we have 24 hours to pay.
Hmmm....what to do? I am cheap, so there's no way I will pay 10 million ISK. I wouldn't even lend my mom 1 million ISK to buy and fit a Bestower, so why would I pay 10 million to a non-family member? It just wont happen.
So I decide to take the morally upstanding and most eithical path. I immediately start my own war dec.
In the meantime, we settled the war with the corp there we were originally after, so now we are ready to focus on these guys.
So we head out just before the war actually starts to see if we can disrupt their mining ops. I find two pilots mining, and I see their CEO is somewhere in the system as well.
I fly up to their cans and swap the ore to my cans where it belongs. Then I sit and wait. In warps a stabber pilot from their corp. He goes pop almost instantly. I follow him back to his station. I see their CEO in a Caracal but he won't engage. The CEO docks and logs.
So now there's just the two guys left who I saw in the belts mining. They leave the station and I start following them. After 5 jumps they are totally freaking out. So they convo me asking me to leave them alone. I explain that I can't do that as the war is starting very shortly and I would like to expidite my killing if at all possible.
He of course then whines on that he's a newbie and I am a big bad bully for picking on him and his other friend and all that good stuff. I asked why would your corp threaten to war dec us if you weren't prepared to back it up. It seems the CEO didn't really keep his players informed of his actions so this guy and his friend suffered some losses. He tells me he is pissed at the corp and wants to leave them along with his friend as well. So I tell him how to go about it. He quits it.
So now the war will officially start in 24 hours. They are already down a few cruisers, frigs and haulers even though it hasn't started officially hehe.
The next day I log on looking to see where they are. None of them are logged in. I wait patiently through the evening. They log in and out, in and out a few times. I do a bit of recon and find where another pilot of theirs is hiding 4 jumps from their home office. I make a note of this and log for the night.
The next day I get home from work. I see their CEO is logged in along with the other pilot that was 4 jumps away. Since the CEO has always been docked, I decided to head out to kill the other guy. I enter the system and it has 10 zillion asteroid belts. Thankfully I am quite adept at the scanner and commence searching.
As I am scanning I see he's just left the system. On a hunch I figure he is heading back to his home station. Lucky for me I have instas to give me a slight edge. I manage to get ahead of him. I jump through to their home system and see their CEO sitting 60k out in his Caracal locking me. I decide to play a bit of cat and mouse. I easily tank him in my Thorax. As soon as his other corpmate jumps over and fires, I jump back through the gate.
I sit and wait. After a minute they both jump over simultaneously. As soon as they uncloak and fire, I jump again. I let them build their confidence so they think they have me on the run.
A few seconds later the CEO in the Caracal jumps over and hes about 12km from me. I zoom in and go for the kill.
BING BANG BOOM POW! I am crushing him as his mate jumps over and engages me as well. I am tanking both of them easily. Then the Caracal goes pop along with the pod of the CEO. His friend in the Exequror goes kaboom along with his pod too.
2 corpses FTW! So I head back to their home station figuring that's where their clones would be. I am right. They are in the station so I sit in front of the exit patiently awaiting them.
I start to laugh as I see their CEO undock in a Condor. I think maybe he's gonna make a jump for it to a different station or something. He doesn't though. He sits there and locks me. I laugh to myself and think, "I bet he is scanning my setup". I lock him and pop him. Then to my amazement his pod doesn't warp out or dock. So I pod him again!
Then they both start chatting to me in local. The vibe I got from the conversation was indicative that he forgot to insure his clone. I am not sure either way, but it didn't seem like he did. Now they are willing to negotiate. From our conversation I find out some of my corp mates told him that if he didn't pay them 5 million, we would war dec them. I wasn't pleased with this because that's not really how I operate. This made him think he was dealing with petty thugs who weren't organized and who were only looking for a quick buck.
I apologized for that and cut my surrender offer in half. They complained they didn't have that much and couldn't make any cash the last few days because of the war, and now they had lost more money because of the kills I made on them. They said if I gave them a brief respite from the war, they would be able to pay some but not all of the 50mil demand. So I agree. They paid me part of it as a sign of good faith. I called off my cronies and let their corp kill some rocks to make the payment we agreed upon.
So another sucessful war, more ISK, more corpses and a bit of fun. Our next war starts later today.

Stories lame, game is weak, good corps kick tail hide all the time. When entwined and have wiggled yourself to knots the arachnid-like k-9 fangs sink into your skin to drain you of all life, leaving nothing behind; ......not even a frozen, lonely corpse.
