Smack Talk=War Dec Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Now that would be called for had I actually stole his ore at the time, but seeing as I had just logged in and was still in station messing with fittings, I didn't care for it to be honest. He kept this up for a straight 15 minutes, whining about ore thievery and me and my corp being cowards and all the usual crap. So I decide to declare war to really give him something to whine about. They had 30+ people, with several pilots over a year old. We have 5 people, no one over 6 months old. It's a fair fight I think. Once the war goes into effect I see Mike Koder again in the system.... That is all. So I start looking for him. I see he has another mate in the system flying an Omen and he is in a Thorax. I am in my ore thieving Thorax and not set up for PVP, but I don't mind. I catch him 15km from a station. I lay into him and get him into about 10% structure and he docks. Brave don't you think? The reason I make that remark will be clear later. So then one of out new guys logs in. He's only a month or so old and wants to pirate. So we are out and about camping the station and looking for the Omen pilot who promptly leaves the system. Another of their corpmates fly right past my new guy and are able to dock. NFG FTL! At this point I am getting tired and log off for the night. Morning comes and I log back in. It looks like my corp was busy while I was away. They managed to pop a hauler and pod him. No good loot, but it sent a message to them. Later that day I log in and see they have a strike force in Tash looking for my corp. They had a Megathron, Raven, Rupture, Omen, Dominix and a Punisher I think. Class act I must say. I got one other corpmate on and we decide to go at them. As luck would have it, they warp to head back to their home system, Goram. I quickly warp to the Pimebeka gate and see Quiver in his Ferox, I lock him but he warps before I can fire. I jump over and see him. I start locking him and he logs out. Big shocker. So all their tough talk and he logs out before I can grab him. Surely he would've lasted long enough for his friends in the Raven and Megathron to warp back and help him I would think. It looks like all of them start logging off. So we get the gates covered and wait as there are still a few logged on and in the system. The Raven pilot Carsass, Mike Koder in his Brutix and Opiboble in his Megathron. A few minutes later Mike Koder warps to the Tash gate. I lock him and scram him as my corpmate warps in as well. We pop him but his pod eludes us. None of his friends would come to help him. I warp to the Anjedin gate as I knew he was heading back to Goram. Sure enough I caught him and locked him down. In warps my corpmates and we lay some smack down on him. Of course, being the brave and honorable soul that he is, he logs off mid-fight. I am please because I whip out my handy-dandy scan probes and find his safespot.... I can only imagine what he thought when he logged back in and was in a station instead of his pod. :) So it seems the rest of them wont undock so I log for a while. When I log back in I see Quiver and his friends talking more smack in local as usual....pay attention to the chat log time.... Appoximately 6 minutes after he makes his ridiculous comment, he gets served a smackdown right to his grill, y0! I send him a surrender offer and log for the night. I log back in the morning and there is no response to my offer. I talk with another one of their corpmates who I am friendly with. He informs me that the CEO is pissed at his guys for talking smack non-stop but doesn't think he will pay up. I don't mind as it's not all about cash for me, it's about fun. So I am out and about in Tash and see Mike Koder on scanner in another Brutix. I am still in my ore thieving Thorax, but decide to make a run at him anyways. It was a pretty good battle. He had me into structure....well not really, but he almost did actually. Down goes another Brutix for Mike in under 10 hours. NFG FTL AGAIN! No biggie. So I sit at the Pime gate waiting for him. Right on schedule he is in a shuttle which I pop, but he manages to jump into Pime before I can get the pod. I jump over to Pime once my aggression timer is off, and head to the Anjedin gate. I catch him there but he warps away before I can log. So I sit and wait. About 10 minutes later a Typhoon, Rupture and Punisher uncloak and open fire on me. I jump over to Anjedin and wait. It looks like they are only going to escort Mike's pod back to Goram more than actually fight. Luckily I have several fitted ships in many systems, so I was able to grab a spare Dominix and head out after them. My only backup being another new guy in his Merlin, with no offensive armaments, just a pure tackling setup so no one can escape from me. I warp to them as they hover at the Tividu/Goram gate. I land right into the thick of them...... Pop goes the Rupture, Pop goes the Typhoon, and pop goes the Punisher along with the Rupture pilot's pod. I like his quote in the pic where he says, "You may take my BS but you will never take my freedom". So patriotic! So now the CEO decides to convo me....... He doesn't seem to understand I am well funded, patient and like to fight. I don't care if he's broke, as long as he has a pod, I have a reason to fight. Final tally was 2 Brutix, 1 Ferox, 1 Megathron, 1 Typhoon, 1 Punisher, 1 Rupture, 1 Mammoth, and a slew of pods. No losses on our side again and we scored a decent surrender payment and a lil bit o' loot to boot.
