Ships, pods, corpses, oh my!

We warp over and head to the two mining in the belt. We land on top of them and proceed to kill both mining barges and pod one of them, but the CEO gets away. Unfortunately he manages to warp off and I think he docked and clone jumped. I had to log at this point. So later that day I log back in. I get news that my corpmates took down a Megathron and Prophecy. We continue hunting and see Firn is out near Wysalan again. We start up the warp drives and fly out to greet him. Just before we get there a system message pops up saying there will be a server reset in 5 minutes. We were only a few jumps away. My corpmate gets there ahead of me. Just before the server goes down, Firn informs us of why we won't catch him.... We scramble to log back in. Just as I get in I see his name go green in my addressbook the same time my corpmate gets in the game. My corpie manages to find him, pop his uber-fast and WCS'ed Atron and proceeds to lock and scram his pod. Now he is not so brazen..... It's getting late now, I am tired and no one else is on in my corp. There are a few war targets showing online. So I go to a gate and go AFK for a quick second. I come back and see the Prophecy pilot that got popped earlier has now bought a new one and is flying past me to the SG and about to warp over. I jump over and already know where he's headed. I jump to the other gate and wait for him to show up. He does and I proceed to get down to business. I was so damn tired I didn't even notice his smack talk in local until I was editing the pics to post here.... I was mad because it looked like he would jump before I could pop his ship. He wasn't attacking me at all. Then he just stops at the gate. It looks like he panicked and logged out. So his shiny new Prophecy just sat there as I shot it. It went pop and his pod insta-warped to a safe spot. Well we all know how foolish that is dont we? Toss another corpse on the barbie for me mate! At this point, I am struggling to stay awake. A little birdie tells me Firncirithion is in Hilaban. I head over there to greet him. At some point in time a friend of his, TURRICAN LIVE emailed us to inform us.... you have declared my friends the war. that was an big error. i would consider fastly. TURRICAN LIVE you are -10 :-)) It looks like he is in Galactic Empire which is an LV allianced corp. Now this could get interesting but I highly doubt LV would war dec a small corp like mine, but you never know. I checked with someone in LV to make sure that threatining to war dec a corp just to defend a non-LV corp is allowed. I was told it was allowed but they won't be dec'ing us unless GE really wants to. So I see Turrican and Firn are both in the same station. At this point, I am debating whether to log off or not. It's super late my time and I'm about to pass out. Turrican logs and then the fun begins. Firn decides to undock in a shuttle....and just sit there idling.... He keeps idling in his pod.... He convos me and lets me know he's getting his Thorax out.... This is no Thorax... Pop goes another pod.... This aint a Thorax either.... Pod anyone? Still no Thorax... His pod got away that time. He comes back and finds his Thorax! It doesn't last long and neither does his pod...... WTF!? Undocking nekkid-style FTL! Finally, I think he's had enough.... Victory! He certainly is a chatty fellow. He informs me of the total amount of ISK the war has cost him. Now I know why he wanted to pay earlier. He had a nice set of implants.... We get to talking about his threats about the alliance war dec from him and his friend... So in 26 minutes he lost 6 ships and 5 pods.... The next day one of the other corps we dec'd sends me some smack talk or something. It's in French so I am not sure what he's jaberring about. Something like we wont get money from them or beat them down or something... After my guys find a few of them and cash in their clones he sends me this email..... So much for that corp I guess. So later in the day I see Malus in local. I convo him and ask him where his CEO is as I'd like to get a surrender in the works. Once again the ever popular alliance war dec threat comes into play.... A moment later in local he directs me to an elder member of their corp. I convo him and he's pretty cool. We get to talking and he confirms that we are going to be annihilated by some alliance and some sister corps or something of that nature. I didn't quite get what he was saying, he kept mentioning leaving corps and quitting roles then they would be prepared to kill us, but for now they're just watching and waiting. He also informed me that their corp is a "training" corp for some 0.0 alliance and they wont be surrendering as this is good training practice for them. So hopefully he lives up to his promise of multple war decs. Update.... Just as I finished writing this a little birdie tells me Malus is in the system next door. We hop over and pop him and pod him.
