Haven't written much in a while, because i haven't had much time recently for EVE, but last night was rather funny.
We got super blobbed in an enemy system during a pirating op, but the enemy were sitting on only one gate in the system, allowing us to trickle out the back exit and letting us get home albeit a few jumps longer. I left, alone, and started the long trek home. A couple people are in local as I pass by but I'm not really fitted to do any damage, only support in a fleet, so I just mind my own business. As I jump into the next system in the chain, I see a pod slowboating to a gate. I reflexively start the long lock cycle(as if i could do anything) and almost before it completes, the pod warps away. I insta to the next gate on the list and I am about to jump when the pod speaks to me in local:
them > hey
them > how much to let me through
me > hello
me > 500k
them > i dont want to die
them > =)
them > thats it?
me > yep
them > there you go
me > safe travels
them > thanks for being fair to a newb =)
me > npnp
me > bb
them > ha
them > nn
I kind of like it when customers come to you, rather then the other way around.
