So I clone jumped back to my corp's HQ... it's the only place where I had a battleship stored at the time. I get there, and notice that there's not very many people in the system. I decided to take out my Raven and go shoot some Guristas in a small attempt to raise my security status a little. My goal is to be able to jump into high security systems again so I don't have to rely on others to get ships for me.
So there I was, warping around belts, getting bored of destroying the inferior Guristas vessels with so much ease. Warp in, fire, drink bree, warp out, fire, drink more.... I could have easily fallen asleep. I warped to the outtermost belt in the system and found a Punisher sitting 80km from the belt's center. Wearily, I engaged the Guristas in the belt... this could very well be a trap.
He approached me as I destroyed the last of the Guristas, firing his afterburner as he did so. I noticed that quite a few more pilots had jumped into system too. It felt like a trap and a half, so I warped out. I warped to a planet at 100km, and he followed in at 15, so he ended up 85km away. I align to the station and target him, and tell him simply "don't".
I'm trying to raise my security status here, but if there's going to be a fight, it's going to be where I can get away, should the encounter turn up to be a trap. So, I dock at the station and equip a Stasis Webifier, as my Raven is sporting torpedo launchers, and torps don't do a lot of damage to fast moving small ships.
When I undock, he's there waiting for me. I sit there and wait. If he's wanting a fight, he's going to have to lay the first blow... Sentry guns would fire on me if I aggressed, but since I'm an outlaw, they would turn a blind eye to his aggressions.
Moments later, he targeted me, so I returned the favor... I didn't really feel like killing him... he had balls, but he was also also die fairly easily... not much of a challenge at all, and should the 20 some-odd new people in system decided to jump in, the tables might've turned.
I watch a laser arc from his ship to mine, and engage the web and wait a moment.
"What are you trying to prove?" I asked.
"Nothing," he replied.
"Suit yourself."
I fired a full salvo of torpedos, which completely striped his small ship of it's shields. I held fire on the next one, waiting for him to retreat... I wanted this guy to live for some strange reason. He continued firing, then activated a Nosfrateu on my ship. I sighed, then set my six launchers to fire on his ship continuously. I engaged my Electronic Counter Measure and his lock broke. If he wanted a lesson, I was going to give it to him.
After the next salvo, his armor had been reduced to almost nothing, but he repaired it to about 75% by the time the next was launched. The next barrage hit his ship, and his armor was destroyed, and his ship was close to death. I stopped firing for a moment, giving him yet another opportunity to flee. He didn't, and I loosed one last flight of torps which destroyed his ship.
"Why?" I asked... here's the conversation that ensued...

Grape Juice > lol
Grape Juice > you could start a corp and wardec corps so you can kill them in hi-sec :)
Sader Rykane > dec corps?

Sader Rykane > i don't think i'll be getting a new pnisher for a bit anyway
Grape Juice > why not?
Sader Rykane > 'll just wait till i can fly my carcal
Grape Juice > how much longer you got?
Sader Rykane > days
Sader Rykane > 2 or 3
Grape Juice > thats not too bad
Sader Rykane > yea its so boring though
Sader Rykane > it'd be better if there was something to do in the meantime
Grape Juice > get the cruiser and missile skills up a bit and you'll be able to hit up to 100km with a Caracal
Sader Rykane > ya i know, i was able to hit up to 60km
Sader Rykane > then ... you had to go pickup the canisters
Grape Juice > true...
Sader Rykane > i dunno, WoW bored me till i was able to pve
Sader Rykane > but that was at level 20
Sader Rykane > *Pvp
Sader Rykane > having no control over my rate of progression just annoys me i guess
Grape Juice > i played WoW for a total of 6 times.... i even bought a 3 month subscription
Grape Juice > there's learning skills and implants.... aside from that, no there's not a lot you can do about it
Sader Rykane > Dood, i just want some real pvp lol
Grape Juice > go into 0.0
Grape Juice > find a good corp
Grape Juice > and go kill shit
Sader Rykane > PvP where i have a chance
Grape Juice > :)
Sader Rykane > and theres a million corps lol
Sader Rykane > meh who knows maybe this game isnt for me
Grape Juice > maybe...
Sader Rykane > 2 days 32 minutes
Sader Rykane > no reason to log on until then
Sader Rykane > cya round, but probably not
Sader Rykane > peace
Grape Juice > later man
I'll miss this guy... I've been to the land that is known as WoW, and it's quite boring and very... how should I say... things that you can do are very limited.

nobody has any patience these days and nothing beats pvp in 0.4 more fun in a Brutix lost sooo many ships and module sthe could have gone towards my Carrier oh well all people need is to do training rite so they can do stuff while they wait like mission and mining hauling theres no excuse in eve when people say theres nothing to do infact theres too mutch you can do and make alotta isk out of it
He sent me a mail saying that he is sticking with Eve for a while.
Apparently, someone read this, and decided to give him a chance in their corp.
Whoever you are, thanks. It's always nice to have more pilots with enough cojones to throw Punishers at Ravens with complete and absolute regard to how much they cost.
(Oops)
complete and absolute *disregard*
