Useful links to guides & topics regarding EVE-Online revelations

A lot has changed with Revelations, so it's just not right that we dont try to gather all the information about the changes & useful hints to make piracy easier. Remember, there's no such thing as "piracy died with revelations"! Infact I believe we'll see more people daring to go out now when warp to 0 has been added. ;) Starting out with one link for now (will be updated and bumped everytime we find a new): Scanprobe guide / busting safespots. Please comment and add your links!

Unfortunately the fact that probing doesn't take any effort now, might scare some people away.

Especially the mission runners, since they can be probed quickly and easily even with the longer range probes.

However, probably the most annoying thing for me as a belt pirate was the removal of the radar scanner: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=433784

I'm hoping we can still save the loved radar scanner man, so state your opinions there!

Yeah this pissed me off as well. I've been trying to get the hang of using the scanner while facing a direction on the system level map or without map but I'm struggling.

Oh well, killing stabs made it all worth it :}

Agreed. Was wondering why I was having trouble using the scanner this afternoon . . .

Anyway, guess that means I'll start using scan probes pretty soon.

Heres an idea:

Open Scan window, then open mapbrowser for system you are in.

Voila! You have the old system scanner dude in the lower right corner. I have a widescreen monitor, so it doesnt interfere with the view. That being said- YMMW with a normal monitor.

Yeah I noticed the loss of the scanner aswell, it was a useful tool for avoiding you gate camper types.
Cheers for the new method btw anon ;-)
With the warp to 0km, I noticed that it hasn't stopped anyone from parking an interdictor bubble 10km from Anennen / Nonni gate, giving that particular set a campers about 25km to play with.
