Surely he could pop a Merlin without help, right? One would think but instead he warped out...
So my corpie sticks around a bit. They smack talk him a bit. Taunting, name calling etc. So they must see him as a viable threat. They undock a Rohk, Domi and Hawk to combat the Merlin menace.
Bear in mind, usually people are quick to judge me for dec'ing corps like this because they are "mining corps". Anyways....
A short time later a A4D guy comes in and starts goofing on my corpie. They talk a bit and once again, it's insinuated that we ran from them, didn't log on for weeks, and that we were being lame for dec'ing a "mining" corp. My corpie filled in some blanks for him, and reminded him that Subach are 35 whereas we are around 5 active players, they have a ton of 2-3 year old pilots while ours average maybe 6mos or so, they have T3 ships up the wazoo, I would think they have a slight advantage in this case. He seemed to agree and said that A4D would not interfere with our war.
Still I found it funny that the Subach guys in the system were calling my 2 week old corpie in a Merlin a wuss for not undocking and engaging a Tristan, Hawk and Drake yet at the same time a few systems away I was camping one of their members who refused to undock. Though of course, I never said a word to them. I waited silently. Nor did I say a word to their CEO when he ran from my Domi in his Curse.
So the next day another corpmate heads down there in his new BS. He sees their CEO undock from the station, so he undocks as well. He comes face to face with a Archon. Some "mining" corp we've dec'd, no? It goes to show you never know what can happen from these empire wars.
Another day passes and I am busy with the holidays so I am logged in but AFK. Promithius convos me and we get to talking. He's a nice guy but he doesn't understand why I would bother dec'ing them over 2 people talking smack. So I give him all the details, and he starts to understand a bit more. He wants to resolve it as I am sure they prefer to do industry type stuff rather than watch over their backs all day looking for us. I remind him we are an alt corp and don't mind camping or getting camped so it doesn't impact our game as much as it would for the people we war against.
He asks what can we do to solve this problem. I said if he would kick Darkside from his corp, I would retract the war. He must have a soft spot for them because he declined my offer but said he would have them write a formal apology letter. It reminded me of the good old pod or post days on the Eve-O forums. So I agreed.
I accept his apology and wish him and his corp the best in their journeys through Eve.....
Nexa,
Playing this game like i have which is just to mine, build, and grow powerful i get to meet new people all the time. I Met a Pirate one day and due to hurt feelings or for what ever reason she war deced me and forced me to disolve my corp. Being that i am just playing a game i forgot that words whether typed or said aloud hurt people feelings. Again not taking this seriously i ended up seriuoly hurt Nexa's feelings. I talked smack and said things to inferiate her claiming i killed her and her corp mates. This was never true and only meant to anger her. Now that i have moved on i wanted to tell her i am sorry for my hurtful words as i was angry that i had to give up my corp that i was enjoying to build. I enjoy playing eve and realize that this being a game i should have not said these things. For that i am truely sorry. I can only ask now that you forgive my harsh words and we can go on enjoying ourselves playing the game.

Top Notch as always Nexa!
Sounds like she was still talking shit, to me.
$5 bet that the CEO wrote that letter.
Wouldn't be too suprised, although I'll be the CEO had a "talk" with him . . . :D
It's good that you do what you do best, Nexa!
Continue this and you'll achieve much.
Heh,never fails to amaze me the detail missing from your posts about our little war.
From what I recall there was more than just your Domi chasing that curse :p
Have to say though, bragging aside what part of your war I took part in I enjoyed simply because there was no smack from your guys and we encountered total professionalism. However I only encountered Vulturian in Tash Murkon and while there was 3 of us Vs him which was slightly unfair, after observing him explore the system a while we showed ourselves and he was nice enough to let us pound at him for a while and see what he was made of.
All in all from what i experienced there was never enough players online from either side to make the war worthwhile, but it was nice to make our carebears get out their guns, not that they used em.
Also you may notice darkside didn't appear in any combat? Wanker no?
I can confirm for you though a'shiro didn't bullshit us,A4D dec'd you simply because you came into Ruchy and killed a resident. And they police Ruchy.
i have one thing to say
Nexa
Nor did I say a word to their CEO when he ran from my Domi in his Curse.
being outnumbered 3-1 i would run to, a domi, bruitx, and a hawk Vs a curse that kinda counts as being out numbered.
and no darkside wrote it himself i was on when he did it
Actually when I logged in Promithius was there with only me. A few minutes later a corpmate showed up in his Brtuix. There was no Hawk pilot so I am not sure where that came from. So when I first encountered him, I was alone. He ran around cloaked and didn't engage and after a bit my corpmate logged in and was only a few jumps away.
My point was even though we had your guys outnumbered at some points, we never taunted, them we never called them names. Like when my corpmate was being chased in her Merlin by a Rohk, Drake and Hawk, they made fun of her for running and not engaging. She's barely a month old being chased by 2yr old pilots in 200mil ISK ships and she's called a coward. That's not very sportsmanlike.
I don't blame people for not engaging when they're outnumbered but it always seems like the carebear types do that to the piratey types.
Just because we are pirates doesn't mean we rush into suicide battles. Especially when you don't know your opponents that well.
The only thing I find odd with the A4D thing is I got emails from people laughing that A4D wiped us out. Mind you these emails are from people not in A4D or Subach Tech. Though, some were from Subach.
So I don't know where people are getting this from. Sure A4D dec'd us, but the only reason we never engaged is because they didn't come to hunt us as far as I know. 99% of the time they seemed to be in Ruchy, and engaging them there would be foolish as they have lots of ships, mods and safespots there, so it would be bad enough they outnumber us and have much older pilots than us, we're not gonna go in on their home turf like idiots. They declare war, they will have to do the footwork to catch us, just like when we war dec lots of corps, we have to chase them down, they certainly don't come running to us.
It just makes we wonder who is making this stuff up because as far as I know, none of my guys encountered any A4D people in combat.
