Russian Alliance POS transport raided

I was filling out some papers when comms went off reporting about cyno-activity in local. I put my pen aside and got into my arazu. Various reports through communication came in:
"Thanatos and Nidhoggur in local ........ Get some scrams on those things! ...... What do you want me in? ...... Just something, get some points on those capital ships! ............ Revelation in local, we need damage dealers.......... He's just within dockrange! Bump him! ........ The dreadnaught aggroed! Keep bumping him outside dockrange!"
Our gang wasn't big by comparison of what we were facing. However the russians mustn't have been prepared for a fight. I arrived cloaked in my arazu and assessed the situation. The revelation was now primary target while being scrammed and bumped way out of range. So the big problem wasn't the revelation which wouldn't do much damage, it was the carriers. The thanatos and nidhoggur which was still dishing out some damage on the members of our squad so I turned my attention to them. I uncloaked and quickly locked down the thanatos with my dampeners. Moments later the thanatos re-docked and undocked again trying to get away from my dampeners. However, I re-locked him once more and we finished off the remaining fighters belonging to the thanatos and the nidhoggur. Towards the end of the fight the dread pilot logged off trying to save his ship and there were still no signs of siege mode or repair-modules. Reasons to this we found out a minute later. The two carriers abandoned their friend and jumped out of system through a remote cyno-field when they realised the battle was lost and their own ships were next target. The remaining dreadnaught was left to the sniggerdly gang eating away at the chunks of its hull and the resulting explosion of the ship was awesome. To our surprise we found the wreck contained a small gallente control tower, fuel, POS arrays of various cargo containers with other supplies. My personal belief is that we just did "someone" a favor when we took down this dreadnaught.

As I saw it.
I just came on duty and was preparing my hawk when the first reports started to come in..
initial reports where of a dread , a carrier and a taranis, the taranis was causing our light tacklers problems.
Quickly undocking I warped to the reported location and immediatly set upon the taranis, within seconds he was history, I then noticed there was in fact 2 carriers and a dread and communications reported the fighters were putting the pain on our smaller ships.

I realised that precision lights werent probably going to kill the dread so set about the fighters. as more of our guys warped in the fighters started to pop at an amazing rate. the carriers then recalled their few remaining fighters and cyno'd out, and I bought my awesome firepower ( Sarcasm FTW) upon the dreads remaining structure.

Killing a dread is not so uncommon nowadays, but the incredible fast response and quick organisation is what really , for me, stands out about this kill

Nice kill ;) I helped a friend fight off two carriers in a dread once using an 8x smartbomb apoc for the fighters :) Damage in isk per second must have been pretty nice :D He did lose in the end though :(
