Since they both seemed to start shortly thereafter.....Our last few wars have been sorta ho-hum. No all out battles, just minor skirmishes, some smack talking of course, and a common theme of merc corp war decs.
I will try to make this as interesting as possible with this story. It's gonna be a long one, so grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.
One of our last wars left of with the Serenity Technology crew. You remember the guys who always seemed to not paint the entire picture when it came down to the real story? I can confirm they hired a merc corp to fight us. I think 2 actually, but 1 for sure. Another fact I can confirm, they do enjoy going afk hauling stuff during a war.

Since they both seemed to start shortly thereafter.....So I decide to the let SETY war lapse simply because lots of them were not active and logging in for long and others moved out to 0.0 space and others just seemed to be afk all day.
We had 2 merc corps dec us. Dark Excession, and The Devil's Rejects. Dark Excession were no threat really. Anyone hiring these guys is getting ripped off. They were not that good. I guess I expect the best from merc corps since they usually have their shit together and have nice setups and good tactics.
Unfortunately I have been busy with RL so I haven't been on much, but the first day of war my guys took out the CEO's Raven and the rest of his crew went heading for the hills. In a subsequent fight, they did manage to get the upper hand, and my guys learned some lessons that day. Like bigger and better ships, don't always equal a kill. Still, they learned and are better for it. I learn more from my losses than I do my kills for the most part.
Still, look at this wacked out setup on Baron's Domi. They were in Pime chasing me while my alts did some recon. Notice they were coordinating with the TDR crew as well...
What the hell is the cap booster for? Dual reps? No. Shield boosters? No. Beta Hull Mod Inertia Stabilizers? YES! I was so dying to engage them but since they were shadowed constantly by the TDR guys, it would've been over quick for me.
The TDR guys seemed pretty good. Once again my guys learned that when you see a merc corp, or any war target for that matter, sitting a wide open space, and it looks too good to be true, then it probably is. My guys walked right into a login trap. I can't be sure if it was a login trap or if they just jumped from an SG, but my m8s think it was login because they all popped in at once before they had a chance to engage the ship. Lame tactic in my opinion if it was indeed a login trap. It worked either way.
Still, the mercs didn't stick around a long time. So we dec'd 3 new corps. Iron Ring Industries, Stellar Wind Inc and Lonely That City. No, that's not a misprint. Lonely That City is, or should I say, was, a once prospering Chinese mission pharming crew.
What is mission pharming you ask? Well it's when a group of guys all run level 4 missions, all day, 23/7, and just sell the leftover ISK for real money. Don't believe it? Stop in Irjunen or Kaunokka or any high sec space with a level 4 agent with a Q rating of 18 or so. Look at this crew in Kaunokka.....
Wait till you see what LTC had in store for us. But first, on to IRI and SWI corps....
Dak Rungar was a guy I had run into back in the day when I used to gank ore non-stop. I popped him in his Caracal and he went on and on and on about revenge and blah blah blah. So I kept him in my address book and saw he was a CEO of a new corp. So I dec'd them. I also dec'd IRI because they were in the same system with SWI and looked like fun targets flying T2 ships and such.
So he convoes just after the war dec email goes out. I decide to be silly with him....
Later the next day I just logged in and was afk for a bit doing stuff on other accounts, reading hatemail and all that stuff and didn't notice Dak was in local. Look at the prolific amount of smack talk.

I don't mind trying to fight, but I don't feel like wasting 20 minutes flying to him considering he was flitting around from safe spot to safe spot all 200km + away from me. One of his guys convoed me and he was cool. We talked a bit and he agreed Dak has a tendency to run his mouth off quite a bit.
The next day I find myself in the system with Dak and his friends...
His friend Kaz is just like Dak. Immediate, non-stop, retarded smack talk. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Looks like Dak and IRI crew teamed up for some action. They lost though.....
Kaz still continues his smack talk rampage. Remember how Dak says I never fight alone?
Hmm I am all alone there. How about a lil 1 vs 1? Or even 1 vs 2?
Nope, he they both would redock. Then Dak crept out of the station and I helped push him futher out than he expected to go and almost popped him. Notice his chat?
I also engaged him alone in my Vexor and him in his Rokh. He won fair and square, still I though I would give it a go.
Eventually he got tired of the war and settled the surrender fee. As always TRAPS honors it's word and retracted the war so we could focus on IRI. We had already popped them a few times. They lost a Flycatcher, Blackbird, Ferox and Drake I believe. Yet they refused to surrender. It makes no sense when our surrender fees would've cost them way less than replacing those ships, plus the time loss from not being able to leave the station to travel and such. Go figure.
I mean you can just hit up some low sec rat action and earn a quick 50mil in an hour...
Anyways, IRI winds up spreading out to run missions all over the galaxy and sit in station whenever we are around. One day while camping them I see a guy undock in a CNR. He's got a Chinese name and he's in a corp. So naturally I war dec him.
I get an email from a member of theirs who speaks decent English....

This guy even joins an allianced corp of Chinese pvp'ers who I used to always see guarding macro miners by letting them dump ore into their cans.
Still some of them want to fight and keep offering me 1 vs 1's which they never honor. No Japanese or Chinese macro/pharmer person has ever honored one.
Even when his friend undocks they can't take me so they redock.
However, I know how these people think, play and fight. I know how to beat them at their own game.

I really wanted that CNR kill but he eluded me. Still sitting outside those stations made me aware of a whole slew of smaller corps who's only focus is to pharm level 4 missions non-stop.
As a matter of fact, toss out a few scan probes and watch how many people you find running them. Watch how easy it is to sit and loot their missions all day as they sit and panic and wonder how the hell there are other players in their mission. Quite funny to see their reaction at times.
Right now we still have the war with LTC though I expect to let that one lapse due to them quitting corp. I still have the war against IRI. I think they hired a merc corp to fight us. Repo Industries. They seem like a decent bunch of guys, except for their smack talk. No shocker there I guess. Good thing my guys aren't goaded into lopsided battles.
We also war dec'd some miner protector corp of some type called The Fantastically Pantless Sporkmen. I guess some of my guys ran into them in Tash and they wanted a dec against them so I put one in. They might've hired Repo, I have no idea. I wonder what it costs to war dec our corp. None of the merc corps that fight us ever quote me a price.
I love how all these corps we dec call us noobs and make fun of us for various reasons, yet we suck so bad, they must go out and hire merc corps because we are such a serious threat. Why, just earlier the Repo guys had one of my guys' Rifters camped with a Recon, BS, AF and something else. That's how badass our frig pilots are. Damn skippy! :P

They were all in frigs which was pretty funny. I managed to kill 7 of them. I must admit though, their corp seemed pretty cool. I admired that they gave it a go. They don't need an alliance corp to back them up, no sir. I offered hearty congratulations to their team.....

One of his guys convoed me and he was cool. We talked a bit and he agreed Dak has a tendency to run his mouth off quite a bit.
The next day I find myself in the system with Dak and his friends...
His friend Kaz is just like Dak. Immediate, non-stop, retarded smack talk. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Looks like Dak and IRI crew teamed up for some action. They lost though.....
Kaz still continues his smack talk rampage. Remember how Dak says I never fight alone?
Hmm I am all alone there. How about a lil 1 vs 1? Or even 1 vs 2?
Nope, he they both would redock. Then Dak crept out of the station and I helped push him futher out than he expected to go and almost popped him. Notice his chat?
I also engaged him alone in my Vexor and him in his Rokh. He won fair and square, still I though I would give it a go.
Eventually he got tired of the war and settled the surrender fee. As always TRAPS honors it's word and retracted the war so we could focus on IRI. We had already popped them a few times. They lost a Flycatcher, Blackbird, Ferox and Drake I believe. Yet they refused to surrender. It makes no sense when our surrender fees would've cost them way less than replacing those ships, plus the time loss from not being able to leave the station to travel and such. Go figure.
I mean you can just hit up some low sec rat action and earn a quick 50mil in an hour...
Anyways, IRI winds up spreading out to run missions all over the galaxy and sit in station whenever we are around. One day while camping them I see a guy undock in a CNR. He's got a Chinese name and he's in a corp. So naturally I war dec him.
I get an email from a member of theirs who speaks decent English....

These guys got cash. Especially the CEO. Look at this setup.
Stabs FTL! He got away from me a few times. Though once they launched a slightly more organized attack, I was at their mercy, but they never killed me once. Still they had some nice mods fitted...
Then the spamming starts. It brought back memories of my macrominer harassing days.

I finally get it to where it's 2 of them vs. me but they won't undock. So I goad them by calling them cowards. Normally I don't smack, but with the Asian pharmer groups, it's a very effective tactic....
Of course they never stick around and warp out of every fight. And of course, the spamming continues. This time by members that quit the corp that I've never even seen.
Then as time goes on people start quitting their corp. Their bio says they are soldiers, but only when it comes to NPC's not PVP.
This guy even joins an allianced corp of Chinese pvp'ers who I used to always see guarding macro miners by letting them dump ore into their cans.
Still some of them want to fight and keep offering me 1 vs 1's which they never honor. No Japanese or Chinese macro/pharmer person has ever honored one.
Even when his friend undocks they can't take me so they redock.
However, I know how these people think, play and fight. I know how to beat them at their own game.
Pop goes the Raven. 30 minutes later he left their corp. Big shocker.
I really wanted that CNR kill but he eluded me. Still sitting outside those stations made me aware of a whole slew of smaller corps who's only focus is to pharm level 4 missions non-stop.
As a matter of fact, toss out a few scan probes and watch how many people you find running them. Watch how easy it is to sit and loot their missions all day as they sit and panic and wonder how the hell there are other players in their mission. Quite funny to see their reaction at times.
Right now we still have the war with LTC though I expect to let that one lapse due to them quitting corp. I still have the war against IRI. I think they hired a merc corp to fight us. Repo Industries. They seem like a decent bunch of guys, except for their smack talk. No shocker there I guess. Good thing my guys aren't goaded into lopsided battles.
We also war dec'd some miner protector corp of some type called The Fantastically Pantless Sporkmen. I guess some of my guys ran into them in Tash and they wanted a dec against them so I put one in. They might've hired Repo, I have no idea. I wonder what it costs to war dec our corp. None of the merc corps that fight us ever quote me a price.
I love how all these corps we dec call us noobs and make fun of us for various reasons, yet we suck so bad, they must go out and hire merc corps because we are such a serious threat. Why, just earlier the Repo guys had one of my guys' Rifters camped with a Recon, BS, AF and something else. That's how badass our frig pilots are. Damn skippy! :P
For those of you with a sarcasm sensor, it should've gone off in the above paragraph. If it didn't go off, then you are in trouble.
It seems a lot of people don't get the joke that is our corp name. The Really Awesome Players is a sarcastic name for those of you not in the know. Get with the program people. :)
In closing, I would like to give a shot out to one of our newest members. This guy is a feisty beast. He seems to fight anyone, anywhere, regardless of his own well being. He reminds me of myself when I was a young pilot.
Why just the other day he took on a much older HAC pilot in a Zealot in his lil ol' Arbitrator. He won and he said the pilot was cool and offered congrats. Good stuff. Props to one of TRAPS' newest members.....

You probably already know, but thought I'd point out that the cap boosrter on that Dominix was for the MWD. Nos alone won't help it when the target has run out of cap and is still firing.

I am aware of a NanoDomi, but the one's I've encountered are set up a bit better. Plus, if you're flying with a 10 man crew with tacklers I don't see the need for a NanoDomi, but that's just me. I don't claim to be a pvp know-it-all or expert so maybe I am missing the logic behind it. It just didn't seem like a good fitting given the situation at hand.
Once our current wars end we're going to dec one or more 100+ man corps and have a corp contest sponsored by me. That should be fun.
Plus I am really wanting to get some wars in on these mission pharming corps. I think there's some good cash and fights to be had there. I got about 6 or so corps staked out so far and on my list. :)

They are one farmer group (suspected anyway) that might not be on your list.

Just because someone is a pirate doesn't mean we fight every single time an enemy is there. We don't play to lose, and there are going to be times where you're outnumbered and outgunned.
For people in our position, it doesn't matter what we do. If I stay docked with 10 war targets camping my station, then we're called pussies. If I undock and fight a 10 vs 1 and get creamed, we're called shitty pvp'ers. In the eyes of whiny carebears, we can never be real pirates. Though being real pirates is not our goal, having fun is our ultimate goal.
If you want to talk smack, give some details, like your name, when and where, and who camped me. Otherwise your comments mean nothing. Because I can assure you, every time we have a merc corp war target outnumbered and camped, they ain't undocking either. At least not until they get a decent amount of backup.
Right now, Repo Industries, a merc corp has been hired to fight us. Plus we have 3 other wars. Repo seems ok, I've seen them work in Tash a lot. A little too much smack talk for my tastes but a couple of them offered us 1 vs 1's and honored them, no smack at all. So I hope those lame anonymous comments don't come from Repo members.
My guess is they are from The Fantastically Pantless Sporkmen judging by some of the comments they've been making in local and to my guys.

Few comments:
We all need to remember it is a game at the end of the day and the world of eve is a bit of a royal rumble where we can play within a fake world. IT's NOT REAL so farm money if that's your thing or pvp etc but don't moan when others want to play with you. :o)
In PvP you outsmart and overpower your opposition to win regardless of how you do it. It's great how people come up with ideas like login traps.
The only rule in eve for me is not to be rude to people unless they are rude to you.

Nice story, but I haven't been able to confirm that we hired any mercs so please post any proof you have. It's not a bad rumour to have floating out there, and I really don't know why I am even bothering trying to straighten this out. If you have proof I will apologize at the very least. I am positive we didn't hire or even speak to any Mercs.
Surely we would have hired A4D anyway seeing as how they own you! (Joke: I know this isn't true; just trading the false rumour you'd like to see end for the one you started.)
Good luck to you and your gang with the Mission Pharmers. I predict this will go very well for you and look forward to reading about it. It's shocking that the LTC guys weren't able to adapt in any way to you. A couple of webs and a warp scrambler between 6 Ravens would not have compromised their faction tanks that much. I'm betting you will find a lot of your pharmer targets will have the same mindset.

Lonely That City has dissolved into near nothingness, going from 25 or so members down to 5 members, mostly alts put in place to keep the corp alive.
Every time I locate the new CEO and go to their system, they promptly quit corp the next day it seems.
Still, RL is taking it's toll on me as I haven't been able to play as much as I would like. So I haven't been active much the last 2 weeks so I try to make my play time count. :)
As usual the corps we dec'd keep smack talking when they have us outnumbered and one of us docks, yet for some reason when they do it, even when the numbers are fair, it's us who suck because we didn't kill them before they redocked heh. Not much changes when it comes to players in this game it seems.

And make sure you have the correct facts about who recruits who and for what lol, though it is amusing to see you and SETY taking bites out of each other, you should be sure you know who is string pulling, by the time were finished with you, youll have far more to worry about than Nexa lol...

I would hope you apologized to the SETY people for being an ass and landing them in a war with us.
