We must be doing something right

One of my corpmates tells me there's a Arbitrator at the Emrayur gate but all he has in an Impairor handy. I have my Vexor so I am not overly concerned. I head to the gate and it almost looks like a trap. He's sitting there doing nothing. I target him. He targets me. I am thinking either he has friends about to jump in, or he's waiting for us to aggro so he can jump off leaving us behind. Turns out, he's just plain stupid. I will never understand why people go AFK during a war, in the same system your enemies' HQ is based out of no less. So as I sit and watch from my Vexor, my corpmate goes to town, 2 lasers a blasting. A lot of them have the same exact bios, and they all seemed so quiet, and always on autopilot. After my corpie gets himself an Arbitrator, we head out and find another Kiroshi member in a Rokh. We engage and make him go boom! He had the expensive high end named heavy launchers fitted which netted a decent bit of cash, though most of his good stuff was lost in the ensuing explosion. A few minutes after we pop him I get a completely random convo out of the blue from one of my former fun macro protector friends. He cursed me out in Chinese as usual, and as usual, I petitioned him. It's nice to see CCP takes that kind of harassment seriously. Again, this makes me think they are a macro corp or something. I mean what are the chances this guy would convo me when I haven't seen/talked to him in months? This usually only happens when I kill other Chinamen in the game. I will get flooded with convos/evemails after I pop a Chinese player. Later that night, I head out to pay the Iron Ring guys a little visit. I am all alone in my Domi. Intel has it that T1gger1 is running missions out of Kaunokka. So I decide to leisurely wait on one of the gates I know that a mission will send him too. About 20 minutes later, his name pops up in local and his ship pops as well. He had some so-so loots, nothing major. The thing that really made me laugh is, how the heck do people managed to get podded by a BS. It was like a 20 second lock time. He was quite surprised but he was a good sport at least. As I was emailing him, "Good Fight!" he convoed me and we chatted a bit. I kinda feel bad for him because his corp totally sucks. I had spoken with him a while before and explained how it's cheaper to pay the surrender fee I asked for instead of losing ships/time/mods/etc while we are hunting them. Plus I felt bad later on the next day I popped his WCS fitted hauler cause he got caught up bumping into a station wall while trying to warp out. Hehe. He agreed but stated his CEO has gone AWOL and the remaining members of the corp all do their own thing and refuse to help one another. Sounds like it's time for a new corp for him. At this point Iron has lost a Raven, Drake, Ferox, Flycatcher, 3 Caracals, a few haulers and plenty of pods and a frig or two. I only asked for 50mil for the surrender fee. Do the math. Now back to Kiroshi. Intel comes back they are mounting an attack against us. They have a Drake, Nighthawk and a Thorax enroute plus there were 2 other war targets in the system. It was my Domi and my mates Arbitrator and no one else. They burst through the gate and immediately the Drake and Thorax warp as we lock down the Nighthawk. He makes the Arbitrator primary as we try to pop him. My corpie has to warp out, leaving me to face the Nighthawk and his friends that have returned. I ended up having to warp out though because I got low on cap and suspected the other targets in the system might come back to help. Pop goes his ship and out go the probes. I know some of these guys have only been playing a few months, but still. Logging off? Makes no sense since it really doesn't work in most cases. I felt kinda bad because several of the newer players we popped sent me emails asking me not to kill them. It looks like their corp doesn't really care much for them. They are offering them no support, no shelter, no nothing. Surely they could afford the 100mil ransom. Shit, that Rokh alone had almost 100mil in mods on it. Instead we now have 3 wars again. His main's corp did dec us so this should be interesting. I only wish I had friends in pvp corps who would come fight my battles for me. Then maybe I could log off mid-fight then smack talk the pilot when I log back in. Yeah that would be so badass.
