The player who first revealed this info and put the dev-misconduct into open is still banned. In my personal opinion he should be unbanned and be fully compensated for lost gametime.
According to the player himself, claims that he should've hacked forums are wrong. He got hold of database dumps from BoB's own members who leaked the intel to him through his spy-network.

That testimony and how it ended is again bull.
Why ?
Just look at the big picture :
1 - t20 wasn't repremended
2 - RKK/BoB wasn't repremended
3 - the most important aspect, the fact that BoB has before knowledge of events and other kind of info regarding upcoming changes wasn't even taken into consideration
I honestly didn't believe the T2 BPO's were gained in an unlawfull way, I know that a player can get those easily by buying and BoB is known to be communist. Plus, he was a Dev which means that he can detach himself from the game and look at those as just 1/0 code on some game server thus differentiating it from RL, gaining them unlawfully means he didn't differentiate between a game and RL, and that action now has and will continue to have RL repercusions.
This whole thing leaves me with a foul taste. Not because he did what he did with those bpo's ... i honestly didn't see it coming, but because the most important issues weren't adressed and other unlawfull actions which have damaged the game to a much greater extent haven't been adressed.
Good job CCP, you are fucking up you're RL business so that a pety alliance in a game server of whom little even know get some ISK ???
Mr.K. didn't damage the game, you're actions did it.

My opinion on the matter is that that is now dealt with. I have no interest in the events that BoB supposedly get pre-emptive knowledge of, so I do not see it as a problem, although I can understand that others would.
I will be involved in the new war vs BoB + LV, and I'm looking forward to it :)

Who did what aside, what is the most worrying part is the fact that CCP denied in the summer that there were devs in BoB, then recently admitted it, then denied that there was misconducted - Kieron's post was a mockery tbh, and now when they saw the kind of bad publicity this "event" did, they admitted on misconducted - in the voice of t20, the same guy who wrote on the eve-o forums that anyone who is actively trying to see if a player is a dev or to prove it will get on his "shit-list".
Esentually this all affair ended with CCP saying "ok, we lied to you, tough cookies, we knew there were devs, we knew they had broken rules, we didn't feel it was necessary to remove 7 months ago the t2 bpo's that were obtained in a unlawfull way, although we knew they were obtained in an unlawfull way ... tough cookies; oh yeah, we banned the guy that did surface this stuff, but we didn't ban Sir Molle for posting the guy's RL adress and name on the forums".
They have tainted the game, they're business, they're RL reputations, lost $ on bad publicity and players who quit, and for what ?

OK so before everyone goes "OMFG BOB FANBOI! BOB PET!" I will save you the trouble of looking it up - I'm in Xelas.
The only thing I'm going to say here is that the hypocrisy surrounding the whole thing stinks. There are going to be devs in many alliances not just BOB. Its like the ASCN spy saga - all the hypocrites from uninvolved alliances were spouting on about how spying was metagaming and immoral, yet they all had spys in ASCN too. Like that saga, the whole thing reeks of people whining because it's BOB. If Kuguts-whatever-his-name-is wasn't bearing a grudge against BOB, but had exposed devs in D2 or AAA mis-using their position, then I doubt there would have been such an outcry.

I am interested in how this plays out as well. I maybe in LV, but I am having fun here. a hell of a lot more fun then in Roadkill.
anyways. back on topic. If he did hack and give BPOs to BoB, then fire him, ban him and thats that. Its just a moral thing to do.

They left the topic open over the weekend to left players blow off some steam then closed it. They pretty much said, that's it, we are not doing anything else, so stfu and play.
I will play -- until my subscription expires then I take my money to some other place where the game play is not decided by devs and their favors to one group.

I will continue to play EVE, but with the full knowledge that it is NOT the same playing field for everyone, and likely hasnt been since launch.
The very day some genre competition hits the market, I am gone, and won't look back. I highly doubt that I will be alone.
