That's a common though that pops into my head every time a new convo window opens up with someone ranting and raving about a loss, or someone trying to "put me in my place" by "explaining" all the things about me that suck in game and real life as well.
Still, it provides me and my corpmates with lots of laughs and entertainment.
For example, we have war dec'd Kiroshi Group. The war has been going on for quite a while now. 3 weeks or so I think. As usual they start off with smacktalk.....

Mind you the constant smacktalking from their corp has already resulted in 2 war dec's prior to ours. I mean, we're pretty random in our war dec selections for the most part. This guy's corp has been chosen as least two times in the past few weeks.
This guy Saywen is pure class. He embodies all that is carebear about Eve. He talks a ton of shit. His corp gets war dec'd. He talks more shit. He loses a bunch. He talks more shit. He dies some more. He stops trying to fight and starts running missions. He get's cornered in a system, he talks shit how good he is for not undocking. The next day he gets you cornered in a station and starts talking about how only pussies stay docked.
You've seen these types of players. You know the ones who play off dying with the excuse, "Dude, I just made 20mil from insurance, so you just made me money by killing me! ROFL!!!!" Of course after that point, all you see them flying are Impairors and shuttles the rest of the war. Fun stuff.
Then, a blast from the past revisited. A CEO from a corp I had dec'd a while back. His corp bio blabbed on about honor, sportsmanship and maturity. They we're all the exact opposite of that. I even wrote a story about them here.
Wait till you see this guys logic when he convoes me out of the blue 6 months after the war dec ended!
Then we have the merc corps hired to dissuade us from war dec'ing these corps. This time they hired my old friends Privateer Alliance. Think that stopped us? Read on and see how we dealt with them as well.......
I'll start with Kiroshi corp. Three weeks into the war and they're down almost 20 players. In fact, a bunch of their players fleed the corp to join another corp, that was at war with Kiroshi! Nothing like a bit of loyalty, eh? :)
Still, I don't blame them, since according to their own current and former members, the Kiroshi elders aren't doing a thing to help. No strategy, no ganging up, no support whatsoever.

So he's making fun of my guy for engaging them. He calls him an overconfident dork. Mind you this is the same guy who the day before warped himself and his alt into a dead end system, while my guys waited for them on the other side of the gate. After a bit, they jump back in and my guys engage them. Then he fires off a smartbomb on his Raven and get's Concordokkened! He also gets podded, and his alt loses his Drake and pod as well. There's a nice 250mil loss in under a minute.
He tries to say it wasn't a big loss because it wasn't T2 fitted. Of course he didn't know I had scanned him just prior to him dying.
Looks to me like the T2 Ballistic mod alone is worth 10mil. Then toss in those rigs and he's out 100mil plus the Raven itself retails for 100mil on average. Don't forget his Drake which retails for 35mil plus it's mods, plus a few mil to reinsure clones. He's out 250mil. Good times.
Just the other night I run into him again. I was in a Taranis and he was in a Wolf. He ran. So he had a chance at an even fight against a younger pilot and he ran. No shocker there. The next day I log in a see him camping my station with his Nighthawk and Drake. He starts talking shit because I won't engage him. Again, no shocker there.
He tries to say I brag about killing newbs and miners. Where he get's his info, I still don't know. I fill him in that he's wasted 50mil by hiring Privateers to dec me. He insists their corp didn't do it, and the other corp we have dec'd Iron Ring Industries also claims not to have paid them, so apparently random people are paying them to war dec us. Yeah right. :)
The Privateer war dec didn't hamper us at all. So I let him know his money was well spent. He goes silent after that one. At that point in the war we had more kills against Privateers than they did us. Of course my guys got caught a few times and fought valiantly, but died nonetheless. Many props to the Beyond Divinity guys who are great pvp'ers and also very friendly and offered no smacktalking whatsoever.
Silent that is until the next day when I almost caught him out missioning. The war is beginning to wear on him. He's taken the route where they try to tell me it's not worth warring them, and how I'm pathetic, and all that good stuff.
I made him money. I don't see how. Maybe he somehow managed to insure his ships for 10x their retail value! Damn he's good! I like how he says he's the only person really left in his corp. I stumbled across a few others. :)
A few days later I got an email from the CEO of the 420th Special Ops corp. I had war dec'd them ages ago and beat them down until they paid the surrender fee.
I have no clue what brought all that on. Then he convoes me and just goes off the deep end.

So as I said, someone went ahead and paid Privateer Alliance to war dec us. Even though we were one of the first corps in the alliance, it doesn't mean a get out of jail free card for us. No sir. There are no hard feelings though. They killed more of us than we did of them of course, but that's to be expected. They have a lot more people in the alliance than when I was in it.
The main Privateer corp always had good players in it. I fought them on several fronts on some of my other accounts, and they were always gracious in defeat and never sore winners. Sadly, a lot of the corps that are in the alliance are not beholden to the standards I experienced with the Privateer corp itself.
These other corps are wont to smacktalk at any given chance, completely unprovoked. I was just sitting in a station and all of a sudden it starts...
Of course we are the noobs. Lord knows it takes a lot of skill to sit at random gates and blob unsuspecting people. Of course I am such a noob, they failed to catch me after I popped one of them trying to snag me at a gate. Of course after I popped the Taranis in my Thorax, they felt the need to call in 2 Domi's and a Drake to help dispatch me. They failed miserably.
Of course once they had a few more people in the system, they still managed to not catch me. Mind you, a 8 man gate camp should easily be able to catch a non-stabbed cruiser. Especially when it's flown by a newb like myself.
You also have to be careful when noobs like myself catch you safespotting in your pod.
Because this newb uses probes and will promptly gank your capsule.

When he asked if I was an American, I was afraid he might start in with the odd macrominer babble that usually follows that question. Instead, he admits that it was the entire corp acting against the corp rules. Huh? I thought he said it was only a select few.

So as I said, someone went ahead and paid Privateer Alliance to war dec us. Even though we were one of the first corps in the alliance, it doesn't mean a get out of jail free card for us. No sir. There are no hard feelings though. They killed more of us than we did of them of course, but that's to be expected. They have a lot more people in the alliance than when I was in it.
The main Privateer corp always had good players in it. I fought them on several fronts on some of my other accounts, and they were always gracious in defeat and never sore winners. Sadly, a lot of the corps that are in the alliance are not beholden to the standards I experienced with the Privateer corp itself.
These other corps are wont to smacktalk at any given chance, completely unprovoked. I was just sitting in a station and all of a sudden it starts...
Of course we are the noobs. Lord knows it takes a lot of skill to sit at random gates and blob unsuspecting people. Of course I am such a noob, they failed to catch me after I popped one of them trying to snag me at a gate. Of course after I popped the Taranis in my Thorax, they felt the need to call in 2 Domi's and a Drake to help dispatch me. They failed miserably.
Of course once they had a few more people in the system, they still managed to not catch me. Mind you, a 8 man gate camp should easily be able to catch a non-stabbed cruiser. Especially when it's flown by a newb like myself.
You also have to be careful when noobs like myself catch you safespotting in your pod.
Because this newb uses probes and will promptly gank your capsule.
Score one for the newb!

Great read! and to any of the Privateer alliance that are reading this, we just finished up AE's second war with Privateers, good fun all around. Fights around the hub systems are always fun, lack of smack and good battles were a nice change! respect to your corp Freaky!

Well, we are recruiting, so you might want to hang with us a bit if you're so inclined.
Why just today we popped a T2 and rig fitted Nighthawk from that punk Russian corp we dec'd.
They pulled the old logoffski, but as you may have seen from my previous stories, that does you no good. It did him no good to have 5 other corpmates sitting in the station letting him die. Two of them came to help, a Omen and a Drake, the Omen warped out in structure (This corp loves WCS), and the Drake redocked.
Wait till you see the next story with these guys as the featured act. I think it will be entertaining. :)

But like you say - we wardec anything so we have to dec ex alliance mates to :-(
And yeah we got a lot more pilots then we used to and can pull gangs together of 50 peeps so no shame in losing a few ships

yeah lol, there are some sad people in there, lets see, theres nexa and her corp, and thats about it. Its not surprising but still pretty hard to imagine people that are so egotistical they continue to be douches and believe their shit doesnt stink. kind of like hitler. you're not a nazi are you nexa?
