I just ask myself how one knows that the current system is claimed by you and how to obtain that safe coverage. So maybe you could give first time trespassers the chance to redeem their failure and pay for a single use hunting pass instead of destroying one month of playing time. And if that player really cancels the subscription and is one target less instead of a target that might come back later with an even bigger ship worth ransoming?

You take the risk's you pay the cost. Risk vs Reward. Admittedly I try to hunt pirates, but rarely do I consdiering walking straight into the Lions Den, with a new ship, uninsured, and without back up. I mean the sec rating was really low as far as I can tell, if it was below 0.7, then it's his own fault for trying a new ship there. I mean its not so threatening above 6.
