Cyno alt + carrier + pitstop = fun!

There I was, in a thanatos carrier carrying 0.5 bill worth of minerals, various t2 items and a zealot in my cargo. I was on my way from the edge of empire to our base in deep 0,0. I only had one pitstop to make before I could arrive to my destination.

A cyno-alt of mine goes into the pitstop-system and prepares to put up a cynosural field when I notice that there's one guy in local of this remote system. I wasnt too worried that I'd face trouble. I'd be out of there before the local inhabitant would even notice the cynosural field. But just to be sure I open my scanner and scanned 360.

To my surprise a Mackinaw appears on the scan results. I start to feel excited and wonder if it would be remotely possible to catch him. I had seen no enemies in the surrounding systems and this chance was just too good to give up.

The fact that there was only one ice-field in system allowed me to quickly locate him. I simply warped in my cyno-alt and spotted him by the far end of the icefield. Luckily there were several cargo cans strewn out around him which I could warp to.

"Warping..."
I land perfect, just within 5km of the Mackinaw and I pop up the cyno.

On my other screen I hit the jumpdrive ignition. And with lightspeed I arrived several systems further away in an instant.

Locking... 30s... 29s... 28s... it felt like an eternity. I only had one warp disruptor on the ship and no sensor boosters currently fitted. I had just setup quickly for capacitor recharge to be able to continue my journey as quick as possible. 10s... 9s.. 5s... Lock!
He must've been asleep at the keyboard.

I had him. It was stupid to send fighters on a small ship like a Mackinaw, but I was in for the scare-effect. It was just too good to give up and moments later a swarm of fighters were tearing at his ship.

Shortly after it seems like the pilot finaly woke up.

My wallet started flashing and the first portion of the isk had arrived. At this moment I was wondering if he was trying to delay me to call in support.

However that was not the case and the full amount I had asked for was recieved.

In a flash , just as quick as I had arrived I was out.
