It's been a while since I've posted here on EVE-Pirate. After a nice stint in Firmus Ixion I left because I was dirt poor, and the war was getting to me. I spent a month in a one man corp. Running a mission or two, getting an Incursus together for a little lowsec exploration.
I ended up sending an app to Veto Academy, as soon as my application was accepted, I packed my stuff up and moved out to my new home.
I acquainted myself with Veto's members then entered a roaming gang with myself, two other fresh recruits, and a Veto member leading the gang. We consisted of a Myrmidon, Stilletto, Hurricane, and myself in a Brutix. Two jumps into our trip, we were jumped by a 15-20 man gatecamp. Our gang leader didn't make it out, though the rest us did. We waited around for 20 or so minutes, and the gang had not dispersed. So, the gang leader told us to go on and set me as FC of our 3 man group.
I did okay leading the group, make some mistakes that didn't end up costing us. Finally, after 10 jumps, our scout found us an Ishkur sitting at a planet. Our scout gets a point on him, and the Myrmidon and I jump in and warp on top of him.
As soon as I released my drones my screen froze. I went to desktop and then back into EVE. My cilent was obviously screwed up, as the Ishkur appeared 145km away, yet my drones were still attacking it.
Anyhow, the Ishkur popped our scout, and it took us another 15 or so seconds to pop him. The loot wasn't that bad, yet not that good. A few T2 drones, and a named NOS. With out the aid of a scout, we decided we couldn't continue further and headed home.

Satisfied, I went back to empire and continued hauling my stuff.
The next day I log in. I spend about 30 minutes playing with the scanner trying to scan down somebody to kill. No luck. So, I go eat lunch. As soon as I came back from lunch a corpie said their was a Raven and a hauler on the gate. I warp to the gate in my Brutix and find a Raven 175km off the gate, but oddly enough, a can right next to him. I warp the can and my corpmate and I begin to take him down. We're soon joined by a few others. As soon as the Raven's down a Caracal and another Raven jump in. I warp to the gate and begin focusing on the Raven. We pop the Raven and his pod.

I believe the Caracal got away. Anyways, the loot came to about 60m and I ended up with 6m, not a bad start.
Not long after, we catch a Raven ratting in a belt. We ransom it for 90m. The guy pays and is absolutley shocked when we let him go. It's been a good day so far.
Shortly after we ransomed the Raven, myself and a few from the Black Rabbits corperation catch a Scorp at a gate. The guys was happily spamming torpedoes at me while I was trying to tank the sentries in my Brutix. No small feat, I had to warp out, but warped back in later to destroy the Scorpion, who refused to pay ransom.

He asked in local, he then private convo'ed a Black Rabbit and informed him that he had petitioned all of us. I think the GM's have a good laugh over the petitions they get sometimes.

But wait, theirs more. We caught an Eos in a belt. Myself and 2-3 others had taken him into quarter armor when the rest of the gang warped in. But it was a good thing they did, the Eos and Vexor had combined to take me down to half hull. When the Eos popped the Vexor left, and I was left with a flaming hul.

The gang moved on, considering I had almost lost my Brutix, I decided to take it as an omen and turn in for a while. I jumped back into our home system and their was a Caracal at the gate. Two Veto pilots were finishing it off. It popped, I began locking the pod, which just sat their peacefully. The lock completed, and I scrammed and webbed it, letting loose a salvo from my blasters, the pod went squish, my sec status went down a whopping 1.2 and I finishing pirating for the day.

I have throughly enjoyed my first two days in Veto, they are a very nice and good set of PVP'ers, my only loss so far has been an AF lost to sentry guns. =/ But otherwise, I've been having a blast.

Fun read. I've had the pleasure of being on the recieving side of Vetos guns before and have quite a bit of respect for them. Looks like the Axe guy that whined about people ruining the game for him is with Xelas now. I think he'll fit in just fine.
Gotta love it when people post their displeasure under anonymous, just because they are to frightened to post with their real in game name. Black rabbits are considered to be friends of ours, though i haven't flown with them as of yet. Get in touch with my ceo about setting a nap between veto and the sani sabik, im sure she wont mind too much.

jer you posted in the wrong spot, and mirror was an idiot and didnt inform us that you were blue. So that was an accident on his part. He got severly chewed out over that.
