Leela's lamas and how we came to be

Me and my best ingame friend decided to create a corporation with the sole purpose of empire wars - much like TRAPS - The name was supposed to be Leet Lamas but due to some corp ticker issues we decided to change to Leela's Lamas - only to find out that Leela actually has a really cool meaning. BTW - before you ask it's "Lamas" as in "religious teachers" not "Llamas as in small furry mammals" -.-.

Anyway day one is here and I'm off for some good old ore-stealing in my assault frigate so I can find some corps to wardec (our goal was to always have at least 3 wardecs so our members can have fun). Sure enough I find a couple of guys I don't like, I steal from them, I get shot at, I pop a few of them. Some smack starts, they're mad, we're happy, the vote for the war is on, and the next day we manage to wardec them.

At first they weren't really that bad but with time and killmails they started smacking a lot and telling us that they're gonna hire mercs to get us and stuff (we were only asking for 150 mils from a ceo that said that his corp has 'plenty' of money yet they decided to hire some mercs to get us). We're pretty happy at the moment since it's our first wardec and we already managed to piss them off so bad that they hired people to kill us. After a few weeks in which we managed to handle the mercenaries pretty well for 36 of them against the 12 of us ( including alts ), though we did lose more than they did, we were still having loads of fun and the wardec was nowhere near completion. I can remember in the first day we popped an afk guy on autopilot in a mining fitted geddon that was in the merc corp. That was the first kill and apparently it got them really mad, because we ended up being camped in a station by 11 of them at our hq while the ceo lost a retribution on the way back to the station. Since then we had another offensive attempt against them that showed us that we underestimated them - we lost one hyperion, one dominix, and one retribution against a raven and 3 myrmidons in an incredible drone lag fest. Since then we decided that we don't stand a chance in full frontal attacks and that we're supposed to focus on the miners so they can pay up. After one week of war we get a message from concord that our war was declared invalid for not paying the war fee (our ceo - sharp as a sackful of wet mice). They were all so happy that they managed to kill us and stuff until the next day when another wardec from us hit their corp mail.

I can only imagine the look on their faces. The war with the mercenaries never ended and at that point we were thinking that was becoming personal, but we're not backing up, no way in hell.

After a few lost battles against the mercs the war came back on it's tracks and we started slowly getting them, one by one. After a while, we learnt how to evade the mercs without too much trouble and one 1vs1 where I managed to kill a merc vengeance while in my retribution (and then got killed by the same merc 5 minutes later in his sacrilege - dumb me) the miners started leaving the corp. Slowly a couple of the old industrial-miners created a new corp which we obviously wardecced right away only to get a message from them asking us why are we doing this, and how they have no money to pay us and that it's not their war. We figured since there were only 5-6 of them we would retract the war if the mercs would say that they have nothing to do with it. We asked the mercenaries what were we supposed to do in order to end the current war and they mentioned the name of the new corp, so the war keeps going . I manage to catch one of them mining in a bestower ( ?! ) - I kill him, pod him in my unboosted myrmidon with a locking time of 9 sec on a pod. After that I am invited to a private convo by the guy and the following is said :

Note : NTF - not nfl :) = the first industrial corp we wardecced.

After this we managed to get another drake from the mercs, ex-NTF member that joined the mercenary corp (I keep wondering how someone that young managed to get in, but I guess it's none of my business) but no smacktalk this time, here is the KM :

Here you can observe a couple of random people insulting the merc guy who's name was censored. Admiral Hollow is one of our corpmates.

Aaaand now the interesting part starts :

All of a sudden the Merc corp retracts their war and were pondering on whether we should send them a mail about telling them how we are glad that they accepted defeat and stuff so we get another wardec from them, but all of a sudden we receive a war dec from an alliance we've never seen before?! We look them up on the killboards and all we can find are their losses. We decide to find out what the heck is going on and our mighty ceo opens up a chat with the boss of the alliance, only to be informed that they are currently at war with the privateers and they hired the mercenary corp we were fighting to help them and they asked in return for them to wardec us. Oooook, so we are now faced against 130 targets or so, pretty old guys, but carebears judging from their security status.

After spending a while in their favourite system we find loads of them, and loads of spectre ops guys probably waiting for some privateers to come over so they can kill them. At this point the war starts and we just realise that there are 15+ wartargets from the
alliance against two of us. Things aren't looking too bright for us and we decide to go back so we don't lose anything out of our own stupidity.

The next day I manage to get one of them near the station in a raven. I start shooting him while in my myrmidon, but he never shoots at me and quickly redocks as soon as he hits 50% shields... now that was a waste of time and ammo. After a few more hours I hear my ceo laughing maniacly over gtalk all of a sudden. Then he gives me the great news :

Just going to say this out right. 3 corporations of elite pvpers are very near to war decing you. One includes us, ***, and two others.
We can take you alone easily but we will have the other corps war dec to make sure you all have a miserable time.

The question is, how much will you pay us not to?

At this point we both start laughing and thinking how much attention we are getting one month from creating the corp. Now for some math:
We have about 130 targets from the alliance, and let's say each of the elite pvp corps have 20 members each, that would equal about 200 men against our corp of 12 including alts. That is about 16.6 enemies / corp member. Not to mention the fact that it will cost them LOADS of money to keep the wars going since the new war price adjustments made with the last patch - 3 different corps and one alliance. We haven't lost any ships untill now, but the war against the alliance has just started, and those guys did not answer yet. We hope that we will be able to stand against them, by either guerilla tactics or just staying docked untill they're sick of losing money.
We got ourselves in this mess and we're not gonna call anyone to fight for us, so one last war cry : FOR LEELA !

Also we are currently accepting new members, we only require a few months of experience, an overdeveloped sense of humour and half-decent english skills. We are europeans - most of us - and we don't rule out ore stealing or piracy as long as you can take care of your sec status. Also the corp is not rich and is not able to provide people with new ships and stuff at the moment, but we don't have any tax and from time to time we can make small finaciary efforts to keep our members happy.
