Well, I'm sorry for not publishing an article in a long time, but I've been very busy. Well, you'll hear all about it.
So I took a little break from pirating to get some money. I was doing missions....eww. Me and my friend ended up starting a corp. Bla bla bla. It was going well, but I decided I couldn't pirate for a while. We had quite a few newer players, and if we got wardecc'd, it wouldn't be good for them.
So anyway, I'm getting totally fed up with missions, so I took out a rifter to rat.
So I'm ratting. Same ol' same ol'. Orbit at 10km, turn on my SBII, and my guns. Then I chat.

After while, I switch rats.

Then, someone with low sec status warps in on me. My heart starts pumping harder and harder as he locks me. I'm back in business.
It's in inty. I'm in a rifter. Uh oh.
I lock my turrets and rocket on him, and start speeding away, hoping to keep out of whatever range he had. My shields are holding fine, and my arty's are hitting him hard. I thought this would be easy. Whoops, here comes 3 warrior II's. Oh man! I have arty's! Shoot. They can't track them. I don't even bother switching them to the drones, instead I let my rockets hit them.
My shields are falling now. He also shield tanks, and we're about even, but these drones will do me in soon. My rockets manage to get one down. I switch to the next. It get's to about 20% shields, when he brings it in. I focus on the next one, and just as he brings that one in, the other comes out. Even though he's alternating the drones, my shields arn't holding. I can only hope to get out of his turret range.
His shields hit 30% when mine go down. I'm 15km away, so I'm not going to be out of his scrammer range. I got nothing. Maybe he'll try to ransom me?
Nope. Pop goes my rifter.
Awww....... Now here comes the anger and displeasure of losing a ship. It's only a rifter, but I still have a few mill sunk into the mods. I tell him good fight, and he just jumps out of the system. Is there any honor in pirates anymore?
When I pirate, I almost always offer the chance to ransom. The only times I don't are if I might die, if he won't talk to me, or if he on my hitlist. (I used to do some merc work)
So this got my blood pumping again. Nothing like missions. I remembered how much fun I has pirating. Oh man, it's so fun!
So here's what I'm thinking. I love having my own corp. It's great. So, I'm going to try and start a merc corp. I think we'll deal in wardec's mostly, because hunting individuals down is a pain. I have a lot of work to do, cleaning up this corp though. I have to tell them why I'm leaving, and decided who get's to be the new ceo.
I also have to plan out how to get this merc corp up and running. It's going to be very hard to get contracts, being so small and new. I have a feeling it's going to be a while before we start getting some. I'll post on the EON forums looking for business, but we'll just pirate in the mean time.
Well, there's going to be a lot more to come, so I'll keep you posted.

I know what you mean. I started a corp to avoid the politics, turned it into a generic corp, eventually I was only left with pvpers. I turned it into a merc corp. All my members left but me to join an old friend of theirs. Well, I am left alone, so what do I do? I wardec people, I decided to do my thing, and kick butt. If you want to join me, send me a message ingame.
Well, I might take you up on that offer sometime, but for now, I have to do MY own thing. Right now I'm using my alt to pirate, and just making money with my ceo. I don't have the heart to tell my corp members yet, but I'm going to have to sometime. I'm thinking about pirating with my alt full time, and letting my director run things while helping a little. It would really be the easiest way. I really do like my corp members. They're good people, but like my signature says, "You pay to play EVE, so why not play the way you want?"
Hehe i managed to pick up sicks into my corp today (his pvp alt atleast :P ). He's
pretty cool we went out into 0.0 today - i was in a ranis, him in a punisher. We managed to pop buzzard but got popped by his buddies' ferox in the process. Was pretty fun all-in-all we had a good laugh about it. He's a noob to say the least :)
but ive made him my corp recruiter and im confident everything will work out.
Haha! I'm a noob to say the least? =P Ok, so I may a little low on sp with that char, but noob Strings is better than no Strings. =P
Now we just need an epic battle that I can write about to make you famous Blaze =P

Ah, Ok. So it was a shield tanking Ishkur pvp'ing with 3 light drones.
I'm sure it happens a lot.
Either that or the new E-P editor (Congrats!) fell asleep while ratting.
Well, it was some of both. I'll admit I wasn't at the top of my game with this fight, but he did shield tank (Yeah, I know it's weird), and have 3 light drones.
