Stay tuned to see how they skipped rule #4 as far as I know, and jumped right to rule #5. Some of them even skipped to rule #6. As they skip to rule #5, it brings a world of hurt down on the German only Alliance, G.U.A.R.D. In between spanking the alliance we still find time to kill our friends in Crimson Council too.

The really sad part was he ejected! He was in low structure and as usual, my drones did not respond to my repeated commands to stop attacking and return to their nest. So his ship went pop. :( We did manage to get 20-30 mil of loot off it though if I remember correctly.
He was a good sport though, I gotta give him that. No smack talk or anything. Just a bit of friendly goofing around. Unfortunately, not everyone is his corp is as jovial.
I get word one of their new members is mining 2 jumps from me. I am not sure exactly what goes on in these people's heads, but it seems they do not have common sense trained to level 1 even. I mean, if I was in a corp that was under attack, I don't think I would bring out my mining boat with 100mil worth of mods in it. I certainly wouldn't do it 2 jumps from my enemies headquarters. This guy has no qualms about it though....
He was not very happy. He feels that it was dishonorable of me to kill his poor, defenseless mining ship.

[ 2007.06.07 02:25:23 ] Nexa Necis > no offense, but killing a war target is what war is about, its not about what ship youre in when i catch you
I guess he fails to understand that during a war, all ships must die. Especially industry ships. After all, he might be mining minerals to use in the building of ships to destroy us, or mining to fund the war effort against us.
Earlier that day I go report that General Grendal was out in Modun. I thought, wow, low sec? I start making my way out to greet him and we cross paths in his corps home system of Shesha. I got report he's in a Curse. This could get ugly. I am in their home system, with 3 others there, and Grendal is on the way. A possible 4 vs 1, me in my Mrym and facing at least 1 Recon ship.
I'm sitting on the Goni gate in Shehsa, scanning local, waiting for the stargate to flash. It flashes and there's Grendal in his Curse. I start spamming my buttons to get him locked and he disappears. WTF!? A cloaked Curse? Thankfully I had a MWD equipped and was already aligned towards him as he cloaked. One jolt of the MWD and releasing of my drones produces one shocked Curse pilot out of cloak...
I think he was shocked and disoriented because he was down to 80% armor before he locked me and tried to attack. This had to be the worst showing in a Curse I had ever seen. He didn't even get past my shields, and I was armor tanking in this Myrm. Thankfully his pod stuck around for me to squish.
All in all, it was a fairly good day for easy loots. Between the two of them I managed pretty well. 30mil or so in loots and nary a dent in my armor.
Things just keep getting worse for Crimson Council. Their newer mission pharming members all like to hang out in Aunia. Lucky for me I have alts all over the place with probe skills.
There are 4 Crimson members in the system, 2 groups of 2 in 2 separate missions. I end up scanning one group down. They have a Myrm and Nemesis in one group and a Drake and Ishkur in the other. I stumble upon the Myrm and Nemesis and proceed to dole out the damage.
My Myrm and my corpmates Cyclone easily down the both of them. The other 2 Crimson members run out of the system and then Eve crashes. We all log back in, scoop the loot and try to kill the Drake that returned to the scene of the crime. Unfortunately she was all stabbed up and got away.
The next night I see the Drake pilot and the Myrm pilot testing setups in a system at a moon. Just before we warp to them, they split up. The Myrm pilot warps to the gate we were waiting on the other side of....

At the time I was camping war targets in a 1.0 system while Soul Finder was baiting newbies with loot cans in front of the main station. He just starts talking shit like no tomorrow. Going so far as to promise me a war dec.
[ 2006.11.18 18:19:15 ] lead head > yeah, that way nexa can hide in empire stations. lol

[ 2006.11.18 18:23:32 ] soul finder > np ill put the vote in now that takes 24hrs. and then another 24hrs for active war.
As always, the war never came. I called him on it. He didn't want to stay and talk.
I send him a convo and he closes it when I repeat myself. I go and dig up the link and try to convo him again. He's now raised his CCP chat fee to 100k. Oh noes! I can spare the change so I convo him and link him my story to refresh his memory.
Seems like he has suffered memory loss somewhere along the line in his Eve gaming career. After that he blocked me. Watch out if this guy tries to join your corp or alliance, because we might pay you a visit. :)
Now at this point you're saying to yourself, where's the billions of losses you mentioned at the beginning of the story? Here's the scoop on that one. Sit back and enjoy. :)
RIMTECH realizes their blobbing just isn't enough to stop us. After two weeks of warring, they skip to rule #5, "Join an alliance". That's right folks, right on schedule.
It looks like they joined up with the all German alliance G.U.A.R.D. on a trial basis according to the GUARD website. I am sure they were thinking, "They are a small corp and we will crush them with our Axis might!". They failed to consider we might also have some friends who enjoy our style of play as well. A quick chat with our good friends in REPO and they've got RIMTECH dec'd in time for the war dec to carry over to the GUARD alliance. GUARD inherits any wars against corps it accepts into their folds. So they inherited TRAPS and REPO fighting side by side in guns-a-blazing glory.
Shortly after they join GUARD the fun begins. GUARD and friends show up packing some serious heat in the Tash area. Multiple gate camps of 20+ people in each. 40+ targets all for us.
Being heavily outnumbered has never bothered us in TRAPS and our friends in REPO are certainly used to it as well. So we bide our time. We pick off people here and there as they disperse.
As the week goes on we see some spectacular battles. In most all of them our forces were outnumbered but we came out on top. Unfortunately I missed the larger engagements because I am at work during the prime time hours of the German players. Still, I derived immense enjoyment while at work I would bring up the killboards and see them lose 20 ships during the day. Another sucky thing is my guys never remember to screenshot any of this. :(
I did take some nice looking screenshots of when one of the RIMTECH guys offered one of my guys a 1 vs 1. I supervised in my shuttle. This time they actually kept their word.
Of course then you have assholes like Angelstalker. A tough guy mission runner who started spamming me when they had 2 of my guys cornered with 20 of their guys.
Of course when we go into their area with 3 of us and they have 7 or 8 people spread around missioning, they don't do shit. Except die perhaps.

None of his corpmates in the system came to help him. 5 vs 2 or 7 vs 3 is not enough for them. It has to be a ration of 5 to 1 or better for them to engage.
Though they did manage to kill me one time. I got report of a Hurricane on the Bhiz gate in Tash and I immediately warped my ghetto Brutix to it and engaged. Some of the REPO guys warped in shortly after.
Just as he was about to pop his friends in a Domi and Geddon warped over from Bhiz. It was too late for the Hurricane pilot and also too late for me. I didn't mind though. It was a cheap ship and an alt managed to scoop my loot. :)
On a side note, I really have to hand it to the guys and gals in REPO. They definitely love to fight and are willing to risk it all to ensure a win. During one of those 20 vs 20 battles one of the REPO guys lost a faction fitted Rattlesnake worth a shitload of ISK. Most people won't undock with that kind of gear even when they're in an NPC corp in a 1.0 system, nevermind when you're warping to a gate into a fight where you know you stand a very good chance of losing. Mucho props to these guys. If you're looking to hire a kickass merc corp who are definitely not afraid to go balls to the wall 100% of the time, you need look no further than REPO. Quality players all around to be sure.
I enjoy hanging out with them in game and on TS. Gatecamps are a bit more enjoyable when you have good company.
After suffering constant losses at every turn the GUARD alliance isn't so gung-ho anymore. They've all kind of crept back into their "safe" corners of the universe to pharm some missions for ISK and relaxation.
I manage to track them down and try the old gang invite trick while one of them is missioning.
It doesn't work. He logs before I can get an alt close enough to start to probe him out. Lucky for him and unlucky for his alliance friend Draager because he is a few systems over running a mission and we decide to set up shop on the other side of the gate.
I was hoping his alt would hop through so we could kill it too but he wisely kept the alt hidden in the other system.
He was nice enough to fit some decent gear to fund our war though.
Look at all the goodies that went poof though. :(

He wouldn't 1 vs 1 as he requested. Instead he flew all over the place in his Cerberus. Teasing us. Taunting us. As usual, I had to leave for work but I was content with the fact I helped kill his Raven. I check the killboard when I get to work and what do I see?

Can it get any worse for this guy? Actually, it gets a whole helluva lot worse! A few hours later I spot him missioning with his alt in his CNR! After about 20 minutes of probing, I finally land a hit.
We warp in and the first gate is empty. Thankfully he is on the second gate and we land right on top of him and his alt.
Pop goes his alt and pop goes his CNR!
He logoffski'd to save his implanted pod. Notice his capsule is on scan but his name isn't in local?
Silly goose, doesn't he realize we already probed him in deadspace, it's even easier to probe him outta loggoffski space.
Let's see what our victim left us for presents.

So this guy is now down a T2/Faction fitted Raven, CNR, Cerberus and Scorpion in a matter of 24 short hours. I figure he's down at least 3 billion already.
Things just keep getting worse for GUARD. Just a little while ago our REPO friends managed to probe out one of their frieghters.
He had a boatload of POS gear and supplies. I figure that was a good 5+ billion loss for them there. I sent them a surrender offer figuring they might be getting tired of this by now. I don't think they will pay it.
You have to laugh at this situation. All these people are losing all this stuff because RIMTECH refused to pay the paltry 200mil surrender offer I gave them. Instead, they run to their friends in the GUARD alliance figuring 2 small corps like TRAPS and REPO would be no match for their big, bad alliance. Never underestimate your enemies. I really think GUARD did so and they are paying a heavy price for it.
I must say I was initially surprised at their large show of force in the beginning, but as usual, the more the war lags on, the more things tend to favor us. They get tired, annoyed, and lose focus. We've renewed the war against them for another week, hopefully they come to their senses and pay the surrender offer.
If you are looking for some fun, I highly recommend war dec'ing this alliance. They have a lot of super rich silly people for you to fleece of all their T2 and faction loot.
On a side note, I have to say I am still disappointed that CCP changed the war dec fee schedule. I honestly feel it now offers people too much of an umbrella of safety while restricting the initiators of the wars.
At this point now it's just easier and cheaper to join an alliance and fund alt corps to keep it war dec'd as to drive up the prices for other corps that want to legitimately fight.
I think if they're going to have single corps be affected by war dec prices like how alliances are affected, then they need to let single corps dec as many corps as they want.
GM's have told us several times there are no rules against people from corp jumping to avoid war decs. So this means a 100 man corp can split up into 10 corps of 10 people each and if you're in an unallianced corp like us, then you're limited to 3 wars. At least give us the option to chase all 10 corps since they have the option to split into 10 different corps. /rant off
On a side note, we're still recruiting. Drop me a line in game if interested. Don't just submit an app. I don't accept apps from anyone I haven't talked to so don't waste your time or mine.
Or you could go the route of some of our war targets and just join random corps when the going gets rough.

First! Great story as always. I'm still crying a bit inside about all that faction loot that popped. Props to Repo too, they really know their stuff. I highly encourage you to hire them if you need something done right the first time.
well just to put the timeline right repo declared several days before we joined guard

Repo Industries has declared war on RIMTECH.
After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
otherwise nice story maybe not everything was exactly like written but as i wasnt present at several occasions where views differ so its hard to tell for me.

Great story as usual, Nexa. I really enjoy fighting GUARD, so I wouldn't mind if they don't pay. These guys are a prime example of a 0.0 corp. Decent PvPers in great ships, but they tend to rely on blob tactics and they do underestimate Empire dwellers.
Hopefully they'll have learned not to do that for next time.
/Ki
Great story as always; well done Nexa!
Thanks Guys,
The freighter kill was a sad one, the guy logged and I had to scan probe it out, was nice drops! Added a bit to the wallet. (as CCP would put it): We hope you recover from your loss quickly.
We had a conversation about continuing the war or letting it expire. It seems Guard Management is not ready to pay up for sheltering the smack talkers. I don't blame them, but I would have paid. The loot I got from the freighter would have paid TRAPS and REPO off, or the loot from the NAVY raven would have paid both us off, or the loot from the Faction raven.... oh I'm babbling again! These alliances are run by the guys who don't even log on for 10 days at a time and haven't lost a thing! WOW, not really interested in the good game play for their members? They even stated they could break us by blowing up our T2 ships! Hmmm, righto, Faction is cheaper? Whatever! I told them I loved their management style! They just don't understand this is how WE play the game!
PROPS to Nexa! LOVE the stories, I'll start making more screenshots and we'll show them how it's done.

Great story as always mate.
Hats off to REPO- Great guys and gals!
I have been enjoying our joint roaming ops together.
Hats off to RIMTECH- Joining GUARD has given TRAPS one of our most target rich environments in a long time.
Nexa- Ya, we do all kinda suck about the screenies. Promise to start taking em! ;)
A good read as always, ive thought about taking you up on that recruitment offer, or at least attempting to join but a few things are in th way.
1. Im currently -9.9 sec status, and dont have a way of lowering it safely, and quickly enough to enter 1.0 systems.
2. Im leaving for basic training in august, so i wouldnt be with you long before I had to go away for 6-7 weeks.
That being said im generally a fairly good pilot if a little green around the edges still, and ill fight any fight im ordered to. Even if its suicide. Im just insane like that :)
i suddenly felt real sad for that poor freighter, thats the first time ive seen one dead before ,i found it a really sad sight to behold i just hope i never have to see mine like that i love it though it took me ages in the begining of my carrer to make the isk for it ive had it for nearly a year and have made a great many low sec and 00 trips with it
anyway really great story as always i love seeing good players put these shumks in the places, all we can hope is that it has taught them some honour and tactics..........yeah i know its a log shot but heres hoping
Another top story :)
And I'd take more screenies if it wasn't for the ctrl+q instead of ctrl+tab incident, puts me off button pressing med-combat -_-
Awesome story! Wish all of the stories were so well written and entertaining!!
Great entertainment, as always! I learned a lot just while reading the stories on your site, so much gameplay and ingame mechanics in it.
I feel a bit ashamed that nearly every german in this story acted like an idiot, thats very sad and provides some of the prejudices belonging to german players i heard so far (i'm german too). Guard an Rimtech deserve everything you can drive against them :)
Ah, since I am pretty much the only person funding my wars, deccing an alliance for me is a difficult thing. Otherwise I would join you. All in all, talk to me ingame, I have several remote reppers and a remote repping alt that has a full rack of large remote armor reppers and larger armor repair bots
Nexa I'm so glad you mailed me about joining the war against these guys, their smack is top class, their blobs are the best i've seen in empire since the nerf of the Privateers and above all I love the isk generation.
Just to add some spice to REPO life our new contract target joined FERGE so now we have 400+ GUARD and 2300+ FERGE to shoot.
If anyone ever tells you Empire wars are for weak PVPer's I so beg to differ.
Nexa keep this stuff coming I enjoy a good read when I'm at work.
See ya in space
Aslovi
REPO contract neg.
i love reading of your exploits, as always, I just wish you'd stop cropping the scene shots.
you're my best source of info for pvp settings atm :)
Believe me, my setups aren't the best. Most of my stuff is T1 as I barely have 10mil SP and this char was initially trained to be a hauler alt.
I fly cheap but tend to have great intel and wingmen. :)
Hmm nice Story but you have a littel thing forgotten .Write the Losses of you Fight with us.
oh but i think that is not in your Interressting
i say only : RATTELSNAKE
Hey retard, I did talk about it in the story. Reload the page in Babelfish or have one of your Kraut friends translate it for you.
As I said, it takes a lot of guts to fly a ship like that into a situation where you know you're gonna get blobbed. Much respect to Delta for flying it.
Unlike your guys who only fit crap gear mostly for pvp and save all the good stuff for your carebear ships, we are willing to risk whatever it takes to win.
Don't make me go post all the crying you posted on the freighter kill on your own KB. :)
Great story as always!
Out of interest what level are your probing skills at and how long does it generally take you to find the mission runners (we also have a problem with our targets jumping ship (or joining an alliance) and/or hiding/mining in deadspace).
Probing is mostly luck it seems. I've seen people with maxed probing skills going at it while someone with basic skills is going at it and the character with minimal skills gets a hit first.
It's pure luck of the draw when it comes to deadspace. In regular space, basic skills are really all you need.
I mostly use it to probe logoffski players which only warp out within a 1 or 2 AU from their logoff spot.
My current alt's skills are at 2 mins a scan, but they aren't in a probe specific ship and have the absolute minimum skills to work probes.
Nexa, great story. You're on the right path again! :)
Very nice kills, sounds like a lot of phun. Keep up the good work.
"It's pure luck of the draw when it comes to deadspace. In regular space, basic skills are really all you need."
Almost luck. Very good skills do come in handy.
What CCP did (maybe you already know) is a 95-99% reduction in sig radius for ships in deadspace. So your regulary scan chances drops below 5% when scanning in deadspace. However you can get hits if you try enough times - so very good probing skills gives you the advantage of more/quicker probing cycles (at least).
Great stories tho, keep them coming.
A great story indeed...
TRAPS and REPO you're the best in this kind of situations ^_^
And yeah, it proves again that is the honest guys being "honest", u can clearly see it when they chat all fine and happy when they are out of harms way, but when u press on em, its a burst out of shit talk from their side how "nubbbish it is to fight in hi sec and how REAL MAN fight in .0-.4 space".
Thou, we didn't encountered any surrender fee problems, all our targets paid up very nicely...
Still a well written and well told story from teh mastah of war stories ^_-...
Btw if u need another 3-4 guns contact YARR, we're always ready for the pewpew ^_^
Good job ^_-
TRAPs = The Really Awful Players :)
btw...
I love the parts where you leave out the real truths :) excellent and entertaining fiction at times. Welcome to the empire of grief!
lol, i only hope, that ccp will make wardecs much more expensive...
so that ticks like you have to move to low-sec or zero.zero
Looks like more drivel from anon posters, who as always call me a liar or fabricator, yet produce no details or proof to refute anything I write.
Give specifics. Show logs or screenshots. Something other than useless boo-hoo'ing.
Hatered, you'd complain if we went to low sec as well. You're the type of person who would complain no matter what happens.
Your comment basically translates to "I hate people like you cause you kill people like me. I enjoy complaining. I wish there was no pvp. I can't handle a fair fight in empire, I need you to come to 0.0 so I can blob you with my 50 friendly corps because my 100 man corp can't kill your 10 man corp."
Step up and stop whining people. :)
yawn!
lets wait and see...
i think to your kind of business will get handeld by ccp like this alliance... whatwashernameagain? 155 wardecs at a time ah *privateer*.
any other kind of discussion is sensless
you are playing this game so `cause you can. and i have heard the same arguments from privvy-ppl. *weeel* ok!
Do your littel sins but don`t smack-tell me that I`m whining about low or 0.0 ok?
*lol*
yawn!

Hatered-So you're looking to have all Empire pvp removed from the game basically is what you're saying. Or at least limiting it to the super rich players as opposed to the general masses.
I think CCP did a bad thing with the Privateer situation. Privateers took on the entire Eve population practically at a fairly large expense to themselves. It was a grand undertaking which I was sad to see go and keep in mind we were war dec'd by them 2 or 3 times, and we never complained once.
If CCP were to do anything else with the war dec fees, as far as making them pricier or something, I think it would pretty much kill a lot of the pvp that goes on.
Eve has touted it's pvp action for a very long time. However recently it seems to be leaning towards a friendlier carebearish trend to protect people and make it a zero risk game for people.
At this point you can make a corp, you can go and gank ore, kill in low sec and do all sorts of bad things to a small corp. Then when you get war dec'd by the small corp, you can run into an alliance, costing that corp hundreds of millions of ISK to keep fighting you. You can skip from corp to corp and they'll be limited to 3 wars max. You can hang in an NPC corp even.
Everything favors the non-pvp'er, the passive player, and the cowardly griefer. You can do anything you want and have little risk because of the number of options you have.
Privateers turned the table on the scene. Leaving all those players with little place to hide except an NPC corp, which is sorta crummy when you've been in a decent corp for a long time.
So CCP catered to the masses and made Privateers accomplishment impossible to achieve without bankrupting every single player in their alliance.
Had an alliance of carebear corps gone out and war dec'd every single pirate corp and alliance for a month straight, I don't think CCP would've done a damn thing about it.
I digress, I am getting a bit off topic. Drop me an email in game with your main character and then we can talk about it after your corp, if you're in one that is, has been at war with us for a month or two.
yawn!
no sense in arguing...
so a bit lexika spamming
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_security
Security is the condition of being protected against danger or loss. In the general sense, security is a concept similar to safety. The nuance between the two is an added emphasis on being protected from dangers that originate from outside. Individuals or actions that encroach upon the condition of protection are responsible for the breach of security.
in short battare allowed in high-sec?
hmm... not very logical
but deaf ears don`t listen
so no discussion ^^
maybe i`ll take the time to write an tick-list like carebares threating blobbing out poor poor criminals in the magic low-sec or zero.zero
WSCCDD?
lol
You're quoting an online dictionary which is fairly irrelevant since Eve has it's own rules which I play by and which you whine about.
You don't like the game or the fact that you're not safe in Empire, go play a single player game in god mode or a more tame game such as Mystery Casefiles. It might be more your speed.
As far as the rest of your comment, I don't understand what you're trying to say. I am guessing English is a second language for you, so might you be part of the GUARD alliance?
Is this your main character or are you posing as someone else to instigate shit?
Very entertaining story Nexa. That CNR kill was awesome btw! =D This made me wanna go back to empire as 0.0 is way to annoying with all the blobs and 20 man gate camps. Anyway keep this stuff coming!
Darkris out.
Post with your main. Chicken. :)
and no, no ingame name ;)
GM Hatered.
STFU.
I think Ander may be needed to pwn someone. :P
Nice story! We ran into the rimtech guys once or twice in liparer next to imih. We had a nice fight our domi, rax, myrmidon, arbitrator vs. rimtech and friends apoc, geddon, 2-3 x drake, myrmidon, blackbird, stabber. bb and stabber got away but all the others died. We lost the Arbi.
Was a great fight but i have to say they took it well. No smack really, only some irritated peeps.
I am still trying to find the first part of the story to hear more about how the wardec came about. If they turned out to be a bunch of smacktards (as most of teh ebil bears are) they certainly deserve it.
Hope you continue the good work. Your effort and dedication is imho a great service to the eve community. I hope you don't let yourself get discouraged by the recent wardec fee changes.
Here you go:
