A couple of cool fights we had.

Aevis·

Well hello again! Today I'm gonna share with you guys two of the best fights me and the corp I'm in ever had.

Characters :
Marux - Leela's Lamas CEO
*** - Leela's Lamas Fleet Commander
Hurok - Me
Srdjan Vulic - Crazy serbian in a Dominix

Round 1 - 81st Division

Background :

While fighting some other corps which decided to hide we found some guys that had 30 members or so in one of the systems we usually hung around. After wardeccing they increased to 40+ members over 24 hours and apparently some of them were gone in a 0.0 friendly corp. As soon as the war started and we shot two guys ( hauler and frigate ) their ceo proceeded to smack us threatening us with a dictor bubble in high sec after I managed to escape their very predictable gatecamp in my shuttle. The ransom was 50 mils in the beginning but they continued fighting ... well at least trying to. We got a few really nice kills on them, rokh filled with blueprints and then their ceo was asking for dignity and stuff like that. We decided to kill some more :D.

The fight :

One night, I decided to go and check their new HQ-dead end system, but I got camped by 7 of them ( ships : Dominix, Raven sitting at 60km off station, two Blackbirds, two Drakes and one Cyclone ). Fortunatelly my corpmates decided to come and save me, so we had a Harbinger, a Tempest, and an Eos on their way, and me in a myrmidon sitting inside station and undocking from time to time so they wouldn't leave.
Finally the guys got 1j away from the system and they gave me the signal. I undocked and I proceded to bump one of them so I would get shot at. As soon as all of them agressed me I told everyone to jump and warp in. I had to dock just before the guys landed near the station but the point is that every wartarget had agro and they couldn't dock. I quickly repped my ship and undocked following primaries as ***, our fleet commander, was calling them out. Our CEO was their primary ( Harbinger ) but he managed to last long enough for us to pop the guy that was scrambling him and warp off in flames :D . The fight was really intense, but it all worked without a single glitch. Everyone was following targets beautifully, and no ship could stay alive more than 30 seconds under the combined firepower of our 4 ships.

The two EW cruisers - blackbirds - were the first to get popped, and I can't figure out what those guys were doing with them since they were tackling I guess. Oh well, I had trouble locking them before they popped :). After that the Cyclone was called primary and he didn't last too long either. Just as one of the Drakes was getting shot at, we notice the other one warping off, and we realise he's no longer in local so he must have logged off. By the time we're all heading towards the Domi, which had rails fitted, the Raven is already warping off. We managed to kill the Domi pretty fast as well and notice he had t2 Berserkers in his drone buy, but he never launched them.
The battle was finally over after a good 10 minutes of intense pew pew-ing. We were just cheering on Teamspeak as we were collecting all the T2 nice loot that the ships dropped. They seem to have the skills to properly fit a ship but they choose not to... weird people - especially that shield tanked dominix. Everyone docked to drop off the loot and as I was going to check another can, guess who logs in?
That's right! The guy that logoffskied earlier from the fight, less than 20km from me. It was one of those " Oh YEAH! " moments.
Needless to say everyone was trying to get a piece of him but I managed to pop him * ebil laughter *.
After the fight was trully over I was convinced that this is the perfect corp for me \o/

P.S. A little smack from local:

*** > gf :)
Hawkcrest > dude, how do you call that a good fight, its all good, have fun being bored for a while we are gonna go play battlefield
Marux Darke > sore loser

Flawless Victory :D

Note from Marux: We chased 81st out of three systems and, finally, they started another corp "Black Aces" to avoid us. See you soon guys.
Lamas had 100% kill ratio against 81st (36 - 0)

Round 2 - ENP ( aka I can't spell their complete name )

Background : These guys ... well these guys are awesome. Best war we've ever had, they're not afraid of fighting since they've been wardecced before, and even though they're not 2003 players they really know how to use their main advantage ( numbers ), really well.

First day of the war I decide to go scouting for a bit. First gate out of low sec I get into a HOLY SHIT RED BOX GATECAMP. This can't be good. I barely manage to mwd back to gate in one piece and I let everyone know not to jump through. And that I have no idea how we'll manage these guys. Eventually after a few days of taunting each other with small suicide ops where we didn't actually die, but we didn't kill anything either, I managed to surprise a lonely myrmidon, kill him and warp out just before his friends got there.

The fight :

After a few more days, and one more of those sucide ops we manage to get a gang of 5 people going( there was some guy that helped us because he got shot at by the WT since he stole from a can - Bellicose ) . We find out that they had a gatecamp of 11 guys . We decide we really need some kills in this war and start heading to the gate so we can try and break their gatecamp. They were actually surprised we actually engaged when numbers were not in our favour. As soon as we get there the scorpions get called primary, while *** is their primary.
We manage to pop a few of them, but in the end he can't tank them all and he gets popped. Well this was really bad since the main guy who was calling targets had to warp out and were were left shooting mindlessly at anyone with a red square in overview. In the end I try to call some targets but I had trouble pronouncing their name ( multiple guys in the same type of ships ), but while we got our shit together, Marux, our CEO, died as well (this is not an unusual occurance :D).

Now Srdjan was getting shot at, and he was flying a Dominix, which pretty much tanked them long enough to allow us to kill them with ease. In the end we didn't get to spoil ourselves with
the loot since they were coming back in new ships from the station and we had to run so we would keep victory on our side.
They were really nice about it, congratulated us and it was really fun flying in the system one jump away looking how everyone was chatting about the big fight that took place in Yria. It was awesome, and if you guys read this, i'd like to thank you for the best gang pvp experience i've ever had.

Stats : 2 ships lost - 10 killed, one ran away.
The war is now over and we're friends, supporting each other in times of need and such.

I am not sure what you typed this into before pasting is but the structure is so annoying I didn't even bother reading it.

I didn't quite get the need for all bold print in the beginning either.

MinithJin·

Good story, but the structure is a bit funny, I recon you've typed in a line break instead of just using word wrap ;)

Ander·

I'll attempt to fix the linebreak issues for the author.

Sorom·

so, here's a newblet war question...can you podkill in an empire war without worrying about Concord?

freaky·

Ah much better now that it's a bit more readable.

Good story. Way to have some fun and show em how it's done.

My only suggestion would be to take some screenies. :)

longey·

Sorom, if you have a wardec on a corp you are allowed (by CONCORD) to kill pods, both without intervention and without a security status drop. ;)

I didn't see this with the structural problems, all seems fine to me so well done Ander.

Great story Aevis, well presented and I love hearing other people's PvP experiences.

Sounds like you and your corp have alot of fun, and you show a great deal of sportmanship in your post there so good on you.

If I ever find myself wardecced by you guys I'll expect a fair and thorough fight.

Nice job. ;)

Special thanks to Ander for fixing my post. I did write it in notepad first and used to press enter all the time :)
