200 million

Tal Nok·

Day in and Day out, the same strange fellow kept hauling his goods from my station. Day in, day out, his goods became mine. I wasn't too sure as to why he continued, but we never exchanged any words, just ownership of his goodies held in that big fat juicy hold of his that kept exploding into space.

We used to make jokes about who could lock n pound his ship away before the other and played games when it was boring at night. One day, it spoke. He kept going on and on, somthing about the ability to cloak now. It took two days. Two days for him to afford his cloaking device, and there he was, jumping through into our system.

Just as quick as he appeared in system he cloaked. Just as quickly as he cloaked, he was decloaked by the thundering power of a harbinger. Locked, destroyed, ransomed (which was rudely denied) and then podded. Suddenly, he begins spreading bounties on those who were around. Then his friend announces that they wish for us to stop shooting them. Let's think about this for a second here, a pirate, not shoot at a hauler that comes and gives us the pleasure of recieving free goodies? Not likely happening.

200 million. 200 million a month and we would stop shooting them. That's nothing with the ammount of ships and equipment they have lost since thier move to our home. I was told two days to discuss this matter. All I could think to myself was this is an easy 50 mil a week, easy. Why wouldn't they? I even sweetened the deal for them, and offered them our asteroid belts who are ever so lonely.

Right before sleep, it hit us like a sack of potatoes. 200mil a week, thats not enough, we need more, and we know exactly how we are going to get it. A war dec, but not from us...someone else! Then everything started to fall into place just perfectly. After a week or so goes bye, they take losses, we will get them under "our" protection for a small donation to the old pirate fund of 500m.

Three days later, I get a message from one of the members announcing that they will be breaking up the corporation because it isn't worth the losses they have been taking, and cannot make a profit with paying us off. Anywho, the conversation got way out of hand, and I was lost in the pointlessness of it. So, without further adue I provide my treat to you.

Tal Nok > :) will do
Tal Nok > have fun with your war and future wars :)

I'm not quite sure how being a world class gamer got brought into paying me 200m a month or how praying on the weak means you have no skills. Your not weak if your 9 weeks old and have a Battleship and tanking players and gate guns is rather difficult, but I guess "real" pvpers are in 0.0 anyway right scott?

The thing that upset me the most was I'm not getting my mills :(

I'm not a pirate, but I see way to much of that junk on "you only pray on the weak" and "your just afraid to fight us because you are weak (or something like that)". Honestly, NO DUU!! PVP is about taking advantage over your apponent, weather he is in a bs or a transport, that makes no difference. And just because people are "top" of this game or that means nothing.

Thanks for the story Tal, and I hope mr www reads this and realizes how foolish he really is.

Gen Kumon·

Fairly decent read...seen plenty of rants like it before, sadly.

Anyway, it looks like you missed one instance of his name near the end.

Setana Manoro·

The games he mentioned - apart from HW2, are all about coordonation, repeating some actions as fast as possible. EVE is not like that.
EVE has 1 industrial component which i understand his corp is mainly as, that combined heavily with the pvp part and combines even more with your abilities to confuse, and outthink the enemy. That is why he looses.

B·

I love it when people try to censor names and places then fail.

Ant·

And now again i see why i'm not in a pirate corp.
What you're doing is griefing. this guy isn't a macro (he's a bit retarded, but that must have came from agitation, being blown again ang again). He wasn't smacking you. You simply found someone who can't defend himself an pounded him into dust.
You also showed that you can't be trusted, 'cause he was paying you your 'protection' fee and you still fucked him up, wardeccing him from the other side.
I will reiterate: i pirate a lot, pvp is what i love in Eve. i am not a hauler nor miner. I was blown up by pirates as much as i blown up other ppl. Some of my best friends are ppl who originally popped me. I also like to shoot at stupid macroes autopilotng happily through lowsec.
But this simply isn't cool.
You are not cool.
Actually, you suck.

Ander·

Fixed now.

Capt·

Heh, this guy rants and raves about random junk and how "good" he is, and generally tries to come off as a "i know all" type of guy.

I have petitioned his name too a few times yet CCP does nothing about it.

Good to see you having the chance to "let him have it" :P

Joe·

why would you petition him if he has done nothing wrong?

and I totally agree with ant, the only thing you're really accomplishing is taking advantage of the week.

you don't even have honor, for you cannot be trusted.

you are exacly what you call yourself, you're a pirate.

Cyphr Sonic·

taing advantage of the week would be to go spend time catchigng up on stuff IRL you mean taking advagtage of the *WEAK*

Hmm·

I don't understand why people come here and bitch about pirates when the address location clearly says 'pirate' in it.

Go whine elsewhere, children.

Remember: Gameplay may change during online experience

Ant·

Because that what he's doing is (in my book) griefing, not pirating.

gabriel·

there is one thing that all players should have realised by now,eve is ruthless, that is what makes it so attractive to so many gamers.

if you make a mistake in eve you are probably gonna pay hard for it
but this person didnt learn from his mistakes he kept doing them over and over and over again

and frakly this scott gy is dam lucky that it wasnt someone like nexa that he met because nexa would not have tolerated him taking so high of himself
ppl like nexa would have followed him around killing him no matter where he went

this guy kept making the same mistakes and paying for it then started talking about how good he is in other games

experience in other games is worthless EVE-ONLINE is in a class all of its own

scott deserves to lose all he has if he foolish enough to act like this

have a nice day

Gabe

Securor·

I killed me a pirate the first day and got the bounty! He attacted me first...I bolted. Then I returned while he was attacking another ship. Apparently the other ship did some real initial damage to him. Oh well! Pirates? I deal with them in the real world everyday. Bring it on.

kikki d'·

well, tal nok makes up all of his stories, so rest easy ppl :)
