There now thats thats done i will begin we all know what its like flying through our respective empire hotspots rens, amarr, jita and that gallente one whos name i cant remember So bouncing around amarr using an apoc setup against a willing passive tanked Mega to test my damge output, then having a younger pilot ask rather openly in local for a duel so bouncing over to the caldari station in system to grab my Tristan (cunningly named "susprise") On moving upto the station to dock i notice a large number of wrecks from a single corp, on closer inspection and shwo info clik i find it belongs to one pilot close by currently looting them down in a maller. The convoys we all see in eve are easy targets to take and to make small to large amounts of money if you know how to sell the goods or where. For instance there was a massive need for hydro batteries. The only bad point of killing the convoys is the bad standings each convoy ship killed can cause you, harming your chances of being able to get money from said corps via the agents. Roleplaying people find this fun, i for one find it hilarious to pop matari convoys in Matar Space loot the goods and sell it back to them. So this pilot is a Khanid Pilot destroying convoys from the emperor station.... not smart but meh who am i to complain? free loot if i can nick it or a free target if he takes the bait! Dropping my apoc off for a tristan (Why the hell would a pilot younger then me engage me?? Cruiser vs Elder Pilots BS not smart) my tristan being already setup for pvp against other frigates at close range i undock (scotty makes me wait for 40 seconds overall) and rip over to a wreck opposite to the lines of wrecks he's clearing up, i rip the good across into a spare can and wait, he warps off so i thinking thats it done or he getting a better ship warp off to a Safespot and rip over the second set of wrecks only to find the maller where i was moments ago and a fast approaching my Can! Luckily im a fan of eve pirate and i know just what to do! The can is far enough away for a insta warp so i jump to it, lock the maller and hit "Orbit" at this point i becomes clear to me the pilots not that bright, hes fitted with beams and he's let me get in under 20km 14km (My range for multispec med beams) and at 12 he shoots at me all guns at once my sheilds flash down to 35% and i panic as you would in a frigate but im in under 10km! so the webber snaps on and then the warpscram, as i hit my tight orbit the damage stops im lashing out with 2 blasters and 2 missles now, got this guy utterly pinned down the blood is pounding I Mean REALLY pounding, that first salvo almost stripped me down to my tank and thats not good. but after a while it becomes clear im good, orbiting chewing this guy down, then i notice one big fact.... he sheild tanking, yep that is definatly the tell tale flash of a sheild tank. Im roaring my laughter into local before i hit the convo button and demand a ransom of 4mill its only a maller after all i get a lovely reply filled with obscenties and refferances to genitals before his guns start to rip at me again and so i blast that lovely little ship of his into strips. A healthy Blue flash ahhh i love this game pity... i forgot to launch my t2 drone......
