I was travelling through T### in my Jaguar and decided to check out some of the belts, there was a maelstrom and thrasher and I wanted the thrasher but both ships appeared to be in line with my scanner.
A few days later, I realised he had quit his corp...
The loot was worth about 15 million isk, I wanted to salvage the wreck but when I doubled back in my salvager, the system was camped by pirates. Oh well. C'est la vie!24 Comments
Well all I can say is good decision flash
lol
Amazes me how people fitting arty or large railguns let people so close to them.
really if someone jumps out move immediatly dont just hang out either they back in something bigger or way too close to hit them...
That pilot must have had truly crappy capacitor skills if shield boosting a few times finished it off.
Nice flash fresh...
Can we have clickable pics next time so that we may see the battle in it full glory?
Now THIS is a case of mild smack i LOVE answering to with some hot lead.
nice one.
btw. you'r pics aren't linking, so i can't see shit
fly safe
Ant
FYI, that pilot was only 2 months old at the time, and NOT expericned in PvP. The only reason she was there, her corp told her it should be safe there, as they operated in that area all the time. The reason she fired, With Flashfresh's security rating of 9.9 at the time, he was flashing red to her, in her overview. She thought that meant he had already done something to her, or her ship, or her corp mates.
Sorry, should have been "-9.9" My bad. ;)
Sorry guys - didn't realise that the images were not clickable. Will try and fix it. Er, how do I that?
so...by "she" do you mean "me"? sounds like you know a lot about the events...
Doesn't matter if flashfresh slept with the pilot's mother, the pilot made a dumb decision to engage instead of warp out, two opportunities to do so no less, and did not.
If you are going to add role play try ti v be more consistent with characters and themes.
You say things like "I did this" and "then I did that" while also using "I had my crew do this". It doesn't mix very well.
Aside from that, good kill, might have been young and unskilled, but still a kill regardless.
Good stuff.
Lets all take a deep sigh about the age of the pilot and all. After all, rule #1:
Dont fly what you cant afford to lose.
Need to gang up with ye more often flash.
Come join me in Molden Heath =[
he was nossing the person too. however, I have to ask...
how did you keep your cap low to nos them? D:
Who said she couldn't afford to lose it? I sure didn't. Just pointed out, with about 2 months game time, and very little PVP to that point, she was not much of a challenge.
Today, might be different.
nice job taking out the bs, well writen story too
Outrageous! I despise pirates and to kill a weakling, do you really think you are good?
Pathetic fool! Come and take on my character!
You would be destroyed in no more than 1 minute, fool!
DIE!!!
What with all these low-skilled noobs I see flying battleships? And Tier 3 no less?
Let's just say I know the story from the other side, as it was related to me.
to funny how some people mention they despise pirates and telling you to kill you and all that and dont have the balls to post with their ingame name. THAT is truly weak !
Btw, nice story Flesh, keep em comming :)
I can't tell if Not Telling You is making a joke, or is so high he's serious.
Pretty much on target. However, as someone else has already pointed out, I did not know that much about PvP. Nor did I have the SLIGHTEST idea on how to properly fit out a ship for low-sec space.
And Flashfresh was using a Nos, BEFORE they were nerfed by the last update.
In any event, it was a lesson I did not forget.
If you don't believe me, just ask Auronof. ;)
LOL - she's not learned that much, as proven by THIS kill: http://nice.mine.nu/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12
She initiated combat - and left her new corp 27 minutes after that kill.
Even though I never doubt the potential of a well tooled huricane, the maelstrom has to have the worst setup in the whole wide world if it is to loose to a huricane, no matter how good of a tanker it is. I dont mean to question you ... but you either got really lucky or ...
You shouldn't feel bad, being new to the situation, you just weren't prepared for for such an engadgement. We were all noobs once, and we all remember doing something stupid, don't think that your the first one, but since you were new you should have tagged along with another corp mate, or one should have come with you. If you ever need help outfiting your Maelstrom, just ask me, I love using that ship!
