Been a while since I last posted. Anyway, a summary of the events in the inbetween:
I finally got sick of the carebear alliance I was in (Cyrene) and left for greener, and much more fun pastures (TRAPS). I trained up a bunch of stuff, and I can fly a fair amount of ships.
I also just last night got my minmatar alt his first kill.
I had originally made him to do frig piracy when I needed to blow off steam from Cyrene, so I never expected to actually get a kill since I was just too damn flighty to just run with it.

Anyway, I logged on him one day with the intent to finally get a damn killmail on this guy, so I flew around the planets setting up some scan points. In doing so (and doing some 5 degree angle scanning) I found a Coercer on scanner. So I warped to about 100 out and waited. The Coercer warps off, and I follow in my piddly little Rifter, again coming in at 100 out. I saw he was ratting some Sansha NPCs, and I AB'd away from the can-filled belt until I was about 150 KM away.
After a short mental debate, I clicked a can, said "fuck it" and warped in. It was on.
I punched the afterburner, flying at him at about 1 KM/s. I anxiously kept an eye on the distance and on the lockbox. Eventually I had gotten in range, and the poor bastard had two points, a web, three autocannons and a rocket launcher pounding on him. He didn't start locking until he hit about half armor. I guess either he didn't notice, or it was initial shock. He had my shields down in about 10 seconds, but by then it was too late. Even his NOS didn't help him as his armor and eventually his structure ran out.

I pulled a few decent things out of the wreck, one of which being a small diminishing NOS. It practically paid for every red cent I had put into this character.
Keep in mind that Kite Hiroshi is an alt with sub one million skill points. I never really thought I'd take down a thing with him. I guess I was wrong.
