0.0 - Space is not big for both of us

Ander·

Continuing our legacy from yesterday a joint force consisting of mainly [CON] and [WoR] decided to camp MHC-R3 once more. An ishtar goes down and a frig. Nothing really big.

We decide to move to PF-346 where a small fleet is holding the gate. Our plan was to strike and kill their ships.
Upon arrival we send out a bait, our geddon. Sadly it got shot down before we arrive, luckily it was not that expensive and it was fully insured. We also managed to catch a tempest and bring it down.

The loot yield was more than pleasing and we continued the skirmish with the local inhabitants in the system for a while.
A warp disruptor array was activated, a so called "warp bubble". It's sole purpose was to catch the "instant" jumpers trying to get through our blockade.

Meanwhile, the alliance who the pilot belong to assembled a fleet as a responce to ours. Our spies caught note of this fleet and we quickly picked up our gear and moved out of the system with the enemy fleet following closer than we had prefered...

After a while of chasing and running we managed to ditch them and returned to MHC-R3 where our fleet encountered a highly skilled taskforce from [D.N.A].
A taskforce consisting of an armageddon, scorpion, megathron and a vindicator. We decided to strike and reclaim our gate blockade position.

In the battle two of our "tacklers", the two battlecruisers and a ceptor went down (tech 1 everything).
The losses were more than acceptable in return for the enemy armageddon (full Tech 2 layout) we managed to bring down.
Our main damage-dealers who were left was two dominixes, a scorpion and a tempest. At the end of the battle the vindicator and the enemy forces were the one dealing the most damage and I was forced to warp out. I twitched as I kept watching my warp-meter slowly picking up speed as my structure damage came closer to zero.

In what seemed like an eternity I finaly managed to hit warp, with less than 10% structure to spare.

All in all, a fair battle. I sure enjoyed it, and for all of those out there who think pirates do not fight fair battles? Well.. you're wrong.

Good fight D.N.A!
We will meet again on the battle-field, of that I am more than certain.
